I just installed the game and it asked me for an update...i did the update and it got finished updating but when i go to play it askes me to do the same update over and over again? anyone here that can help me?

You might be installing multiple updates - it doesn't update all it once, you going to download the next patch, and then the next one, etc. until they are all complete.

Do you get to the front splash screen of the game where you enter your username/password or not?

If so, what is patch number on the lower left corner?

Are you running on Vista? If so, you need to right click the icon on your desktop and 'run as administrator' sometimes when you're patching (sometimes not .... don't ask why), that always works for me.
