UPDATE!!! 21 FEB, FULL TOURNEMENT!!!!!!

Once all 16 fighters have signed up, the first bracket fighters will tell me when its good for them to fight via time frame, first 8 fights will be private and not announced, Please remember, this is a fighters tournement, not a spectators tournement, so when its convieniant for them to fight is when its going to happen, if your able to make it...so be it, but this is built for the fighters

When we have narrowed the field down to 8 fighters, we will announce when the fight will take place...but remember, only four people will be in the arena, the spot in which the pit is located, there is room for someone to place a house for spectators, I myself have no more accounts to place another house, im sure someone will be willing to accomodate us there.

Wouldn't it make more sense to say that anybody without the poisoning skill must poison during the fight?

Making somebody re-poison their 11 charges of deadly poison with a new pot is just a waste. I believe the original concern would be lesser poisoning via no skill, or having somebody pre-poison the blades for them.

If there's something I'm missing, where there's a valid reason for somebody with the skill to re-poison, lemme know.

Because, the posiner will show up without the weapon poinsned, so he will have to have the skill to poison, it disallows the folks without posion skill to show up with 12 charges of DP already on there weapon. If your only allowed 20 of each pot, that includs DP, so basically a poisner is allowed 21 pots?

Me personally, I think the poisoner having an extra 12 DP charges under his belt does make a difference, it could mean the difference between maybe winning or loosing, now do I think that a DP charge will turn the tide in one of these fight? not sure, but it would sure suck if it did and we didnt clear it up first.....lol

He means "apply poison" during fight.

You can't show up with pre-poisoned weapons.

Hate to make things more complicated, but how about ninja's and stars & darts? Are they allowed to bring 100 pre-poisoned stars/darts?

And can alchemists make potions during the match on top of their 20 potions?

Yes, all is allowed, shirkins and darts are all allowed, you have to have the ninja skill to use them, so if your going to bring ninja into the pit, by all means you should be able to use them, and if someone has alcalmy, sure they can make more potions of course, but they will need regs and resources to do so, and its not that easy to make potions while getting your ass handed to you, so by all means.....go ahead, its your skill......lol

Thats what makes this tournement fun and interesting, you have to consider many things and suprises, some templates are just going to do very well against others botttom line, and its the luck of the draw on who you get to fight, I cant wait for this one to be started and over, i want to join the next one....

From a Pvpers stand point...this is what its all about, Very little rules, and everything goes, your only held back by your fear and imagination......lol

Its a resource that takes up weight,

20 DP potions = 240 DP charges on a weapon

Shirkins and darts without the poison skill arent very affective against someone with 120 resist,

they better bring a ton of them and have you ever had to try and reload those damn things while fighting? thats a major pain in the ass....so have at it, a very talented mage will rock someone before they get it loaded again,

DP to a weapon is a keystroke with a UOA macro and thats very effective against someone with 120 resist and there a continual spamming affect on that., unlike the delay on throwing a shirkin or dart

Yes, 20 of each pot amd yes Ninja form will be allowed, and Bruin, if you help as director you wont be able to enter the tourney, you will be Privy to all the templates, which is a conflick of interests, and must be kept secret....let me know, i need someone as co-director to Ref/Direct fights when Im unavalible and such

Well, seems like you have always been so concerned about SP and there tournement entrys and such, if my caculations are correct, there are 6 SP out of 13 entrys, and I myself would join if I wasnt directing this, so thats about 50% of the field is that ok for you?

You sound kinda bitter...i never claimed to be a elite PvPer let alone dueler...its great that SP! is in this tournament...ill leave this conversation alone because it sounds like you have some hidden issues...i only stated that there was a tournament and one SP! person signed the form when SP! is known to be the best duelers on the server...

Because if you notice i never made a comment about JSV or TNT because i know their not known for duelers but SP! is...i think you took my comment to heart...

Now the problem i do have with SP! is playing a production shard and coming on our forum and trying to recruit for Atlantic...

I do have much concern about a large guild playing on atlantic then on SP...it hurts the server...then coming on SP forums and recruiting for atlantic...it hurts the server...
