(i rarely get to log in, but away at hotel on work..!!)

You are right Mythic is in Fairfax. So maybe for me 5am. Who know what the higher ups at EA will do. Maybe they want to be up and have thier coffee before letting it lose. Only EA or EA/Mythic can really answer this.EA/Mythic I believe is located in Fairfax, VA? And it's only 7:50pm here
0001 GMT 09/08/09 and they would be late. It'd be nice if they started selling codes at 12:01 am EST. I'd be more than willing to stay up late to get my code so I can log in tomorrow morning after server up and get a little exploring in before work.
SorryOk?
Why would a company on the east coast USA go with GMT as their standard? Their local time would make more sense.

OMG forgot about the doughnuts. Revised time 2PM PSTI was not aware of that. GMT would be nice but somehow I doubt they'll be using that as the official release time. I'm betting it won't be on the site until tomorrow morning when they come into the office after a long weekend and have had that first cup of coffee and a doughnut.
While I understand what you're saying, in this case it just doesn't make sense. For a company with most of it's staff (for this game at least) on the east coast of the US, it seems to me they would use that time zone to coincide with having people at their desks to handle the problems that will happen during launch.Because when you run a game across multiple time zones, it makes sense to tailor your service to those time zones? Not that I expect it happen, mind, but I'm always happy to be pleasantly surprised!
I can't actually stay awake any more now; it's 1.35am here and I have to get up to get the kids off to school. I was kinda hopin' to have it ready to log into when they're gone in the morning, but no such luck, I guess![]()
