Uoassist issue

Under the resources tab, and user 1 or user 2, if i set it as apples (and i click either one apple or a pile of apples) the amount of apples that my counter displays is only the number of piles of apples, however my friend says that for him, it counts the apples regardless if they are stacked. I have counted resources and uninstalled and reinstalled uoassist.

Anyone have any ideas?

May the gods help me, I have to say it... Switch to the enhanced client, counting items including apples works perfectly there... I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not really... But ya, I have no idea...

yeah it works ok on EC, but they haven't fixed all the mage pvp issues yet so can't play EC yet.

What am i saying? I meant to say, they haven't fixed ANY of the mage pvp issues that prevent pros from playing EC.

They haven't fixed the script and speedhacking issues in PvP with the CC either.

For the nth time, nobody uses scripts in PvP. I don't know what it's going to take to get it through your thick heads. Speedhacking is the ONLY illegal program that is widely used in PvP. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just delusional.

Did not work, i assume you meant count resources a couple of times (i actually removed numlock as my count resource button as i kept hitting it by accident and setting off trapped boxes a dozen times in a row during a fight got annoying)

Of course people use scripts in PvP! On simple example would be scripts that drink cure potions or eat apples only milliseconds after the player got poisoned/cursed.

And that's only on top of speedhacking, tree hacks, wall hacks and all that other crap going on with the CC.

So UOA w/ both EC and CC, and it works correctly w/ EC, or is the problem Only with CC? which wouldn't surprise me since they 'upgraded' something in that client awhile back and now house location data won't report anymore.
And why would they care? UOA is not theirs (Tugsoft's). I don't think they have any(or little) responsibility toward that integration. Sadly. At one time, it, along w/ automap were the only things that kept me playing. I'd bet that the Dev's use it also and problems Only get fixed if it personally affects one of them (or their Buds) and they get a small patch put out. Spada got changes concerning Houses, also HTML colored labeling on things like runebooks (He was the one responsible for having it turned off).
I'd say find a Dev & start kissing butt if you want it fixed.

Someone running a script to eat consumables would only be hurting themselves in the end. I have played with A LOT of different people, and I would guess the number of people running such a script would be < 5% of the PvP population. I'm sorry, but scripts are not better than human intuition. Faster maybe, but not better.

Hey I never said it is wise to use such a script, I'm just saying it happens.

But I concur, scripts aren't the biggest problem in PvP. Neither is Speedhacking imho, because with the EC and 10 years of honed running skill I can keep up with everyone. But what really stinks are things like player running through bagballs and such.

I get this with some chars and not with others...was always scratching my head over it, but it is handy knowing how many piles are left!

Wrong... it is NOT faster if you are talking about running. The EC does maneuver around objects better, but is NOT faster.

Oh really? I have two foot races to shards I ping over 200 to that say otherwise. BTW, maneuverability goes hand in hand with speed...

The anti cheats are only partially effective because they seem to take player interaction in addition to what they do. Second, I know of a few different people who were banned for using speedhacks.

You are right...can't touch the art hacks with a ten foot pole, but the EC does allow movement through objects normally impassible in the CC.
