UOAM Problems Anyone Know The Solution?

I recently reformatted my computer back to Windows XP because I just couldn't stand Vista any longer.

Now i've reinstalled UOA got it work fine I downloaded UOAM, it goes through the patcher goes connecting to tugsoft then takes afew min says... Downloaded 1 File(s) sucessfully out of 5 attempted... So I click Okay to open up uo auto map then this message pops up.....


Uo Auto-Map Autmatic Update Utility...

The full version of Uo Auto-map has not yet been downloaded.
You need to successfully complete the download before you can start using Uo Auto-Map

Try again later.

I've uninstalled it. downloaded it again same message comes up...

The only thing I can think of... is that sometimes, uninstalling does not completely remove the files from your computer, often, not at all.

Try starting fresh...

Uninstall UOAM again, but this time go in and delete the UOAM folder to remove it COMPLETELY. Also delete tempfiles and all that jazz too, then try re-installing again.

If I understand you correctly I got a problem like that a while ago. I solved it by not using the setup program, instead you go here and download the zip archive.

Your not the only one. I think uo automap is finally dead

If any of you care to support the "approval" of another UOAM type application, there is a guy that is working on it and your support in this thread would no doubt, be appreciated.

That link takes you to the thread on UHall, so consider that fair warning for those of you who have little patience for that place! He has posted screenshots and Crissay_EAMYTHIC has responded a few times. Its still a work in progress, but is looking very good!

I had to upload my uoam files to a friend via website for his to work. He then downloaded what i had and is doing fine.

Moral of the story, dont delete UOAM.

I had the same issue a few days ago, I unchecked all the locations files for autoDL and it still didn't work, then about 2 days later it miraculously worked.

I know that doesn't help much, but it may clear up on it's own...
