I'd love to have a full FAQ strategy guide for each monster here on stratics. A guide that broke down how to kill each monster, which template works best, but also gives alternatives, such as:

"For Baracoon a bushido archer works well, but a discordance tamer can also work" and perhaps it could break down the best way to ensure safety, and fastest way to kill?

I ask for this because I am making a new sampire and wondering what I can hunt. I'd like to be able to do Navery's and Medusa's.

What do you do when she begins dancing? The template I had planned for Navery was:

120 Swords
110 Parry
100 Tactics
120 Bushido
99 Necromancy
71 Chivalry
100 anat/resist. Depending on what i am fighting.

What is the temp you run?

Difficult to make such a guide really. The hunter's guide does give the option for people to give feedback on how they've fought things.
Unfortunately it's no longer possible to pick up the information on new creatures from uo.com's bestiary. Someone has to go where they are and use animal lore on them.

Personally I would recomend just doing 100 Necro and 70 chiv. That one extra point is gonna help you a lot more with necro then it will at that lvl of chiv. As someone else stated, Medusa is not hard at all as long as you get some gorgon lenses. In fact.. I would say she is easier then Navrey. With my sampire I can easily solo dreadhorn, Medusa, and the entire baracoon spawn, as well as a handful of other things. It will take some work, practice, and trial and error, but once you get it down, its a GREAT character to have! One that actually allows you to hunt and have fun with or without a group.

What weapon do you use? I am considering going fencing for the leaf blade. High DPS and feint on one weapon. Do the gorgon lenses keep her from making multiples of you?

Yes the gorgon lenses keep her from turning you to stone, and from making copies of you. They are VITAL to a smooth encounter.

As for the weapon, I spent the first 7 or 8 years I played as a fencer, and still use my fencer in pvp... but for a sampire I would strongly recomend swords. It spend a few hours one day researching weapons, taking into account their speed, damage, and specials. Swordsmanship (as far as i am concerned) easily has the best combos.

Which one do you recommend?
Radiant skimmy has great DPS and whirlwind, so I am assuming it is best for spawns.
Ornate axe has great DPS, but is 2 handed. Same with runeblade.

In most cases you actually WANT a 2 handed weapon. This gives you a good amount of additional defense chance since you have Bushido. Personally I have found the Double Axe to be the best for doing champ spawns, and the Daisho best for doing Peerless level monsters.

I'm
120 bush
120 parry
120 ana
120 tac
120 mace
100 necro
70 chiv

50 skill inc or smth
51 dci
36 hci
100 dmg

What happens when she dances ?
Stuff gets unstoned ? - just drag her onto the stairs in the north west.. theres no spawn there
Evil minions ? just use momentum strike.. if they are fresh 1 momentum is enough

Using a 2 handed wep instead of a one handed is pretty useless if you are using bushido... you just get additional 5% parrychance..
I'd rather go for the one handed so you can use pots..

A full guide? Hah! We don't get paid enough.
Some tips and tricks for some of he bosses wouldn't be out of the question though.
Granted I only play one template, so there's a lot of info I wouldn't be able to collect.

What do you do when she begins dancing?
She's jumped up a level. She's a floor above the ground level, just stay directly underneath her and you can still hit.
