UO Lag?

I have been dealing with quite possible worst lag on all shards and just logging into uo! Anyone else having issues?

IE, I Recall and 2.5mins later I arrive, but i still can like run around.
IE, I Say "Bank" and it takes 5 minutes for my bank box to reopen, which really isint a prob but when im in DOOM and it Opens Up, and i can move items etc, funny!

I've experienced this problem in the last week or two, occasionally. I thought it was my DSL, but perhaps it is something server-related.

it has to be on UO's side, I have comcast cable net and I dont have any issues until I log into UO, so i thought it was Atlantic, so i switched to pac etc, and still the same

Alot of people are laggy on east coast shards. It seems the gms are more busy fixing plants on napa though.

Strange... I play on East Coast shards and I have to say the lag is lower than I can ever remember, even trace routes. The only time recently that I've had a problem was when I was running an old internet database program at the same time as playing UO. Usually I have a terrible connection when everyone else is running fine.

Fair few of us getting horrendous lag spikes, and have been for a couple of months. And we're all playing from different countries; USA, UK, Norway, Russia, Belgium, Sweden, etc etc. It's very bizarre because while I'm lagging like you wouldn't believe, my husband, playing on his lap top on the same connection, has no problems at all and vice versa. I'm not any kind of techie except maybe a dufus, but that, along with all the other people who are suffering the same problem but from different countries, says to me that this is a problem at EA's end, since that's the common denominator here. Oh, and we're playing Europa, if that helps any

I had bad lag also but found out that UO dosent like to be played in 32 bit color.

So i switched to 16 and have np at all.

Yes i have a older machine...
