Hello Siegers,

I wrote a post in UHall titled: "UO is Community: Three Ways to make UO a better game".

Please read it, and feel free to post something constructive in that thread. Please no "The devs don't listen posts" or attacks on people. If you really need to feel to put something really negative, put it in this thread here in the Siege boards, and not in UHall.

I also sent messages to Bob and Jeremy, and I'm sure they'll read it. Hopefully something constructive comes out of this.

Honestly any old Chessy players here? There were NO alliances. IC!, OiN, -S-. S-S, -X-, DsR, dnd, F-U, etc. If you were one of these guilds and left pretty much no one would have you, because the hatred for each other ran deep, now it's just a race to see who can get the most people.

The problem? No good players in UO anymore. I logged on my mage on Chesapeake, put on a 2/5 jewlery suit, no armor etc and dueled. I won 4/6 duels and I could only get off ONE combo. This is the state of UO. When good players return(won't happen) UO won't suck. Ta da?

In this case, it's the type of people that play games these days, and how the environment has changed. This goes for all online games.

The types of people who played online games 10 years ago are different from the types of people who play online games today. Before, it was about studying your opponent. Now, it's about how fast you can push the "I Win" button.

I think the problem is more that players like yourself base how good someone is around them playing a pure mage, standing in a 9 by 9 room and mashing 3-4 different buttons, U.O has moved on it's about time the old players did also.

1 people stop crying after they die posting screenies of how they were ganked and crying us a ****ing river and just take your death like a man or lady whichever the case may be and go get a res resuit and come back

2 stop talking **** to people after you kill them how about nice fight or good try or heres what you did wrong you know something other than you suck newb go back to trammy.

3 stop posting and talking about what should could would be good for the shard and ****ing do it!

I'm getting a little tired of insinuations like this. Since mod actions are not discussed you have absolutely no way of knowing what actions we have taken against which posters. Nor am I about to start informing you. If you have a problem with the moderation on this board the correct procedure is to email [email protected].

On a personal level I have to say I deeply resent these implications of bias since I try very, very hard to maintain objectivity and fairness when moderating.

The devs have told by various players myself included countless times that they should expand on UO's uniqueness. But they seem content to make UO more like other games instead. And many players of UO want it that way, unfortunately.
