Luckily I have resolved all my issues with the new account system (knock on wood) but there are many others who I know have not and this seems like kicking sand in their face.
Whose brilliant idea is this???
Well since EA does not make little decisions for the game itself like, turning back on house decay, it would be UO Devs making this call.

The sad thing is for the ones that are still having issues..... we pretty well know what is going to happen to them.
I have my opinion on whom made this call but I wont say because the defenders and the flamers will attack me and I dont have a flame proof suit.
Well as a "low life" idoc raider i can say only one thing
EA that stinks, how can you turn on the decay system when so many are still having a nightmare
i enjoy idocs, but only because i get shinies left by those that do not want to play anymore, i had a nightmare with acct manangement until a really helpful guy at origin walked me through setting things up, If we lose players and their houses due to EA's unbelieveably poor handling of this is will be a real shame
To thoses affected i feel for you, if i was to lose my house and things (EA pixels i know blah blah) MY time and money and effort due to this i would feel VERY sick

STOP IDOC CYCLE UNTIL THINGS GET FIXED, NO BRAINER REALLY
also saying that, all that should happen now if your accts are "unpaid" the cycle starts, 90 days "grace" then decay starts so just because the idoc system starts you should not be affected YET! houses falling should only be those that have been unpaid for 90 days or more up to the migration system, so unless i am VERY wrong, guys you have time to get things fixed

Regular updates is cool but why tell us you're turning on house decay like it's some feature we were looking forward to being turned back on when there appear to be several billing problems outstanding, and house decay is linked to billing?

errr we still are not getting the vet reward gump yet??? when is it coming to the regular shards...iam owed 3 picks....????these wer chosen on the day it was taken down,,,yet the 3 bags of house teleporters are not in the vet rward chest in my house were they were put... and iam definate not gettig a fresh reward gump still......i would like to know whats happening please...........
DUMBEST thing I have ever heard. Just look at the boards, people are still having problems and the only thing saving thier homes is it has been turned off.

I disagree. Turn it back on already. It seems like the majority of players still having problems are the ones that simply refuse to do any reading before jumping in and spending hours on the site getting nowhere. All the information you need is here, posted over and over.
I can just see it, someone going to the site and entering their account name into the Mythic Master Account box repeatedly, over and over, ready to throw the monitor against the wall they are so frustrated. Then they come to Stratics to pancake and moan, curse EA and inform us they're quitting, until someone asks them if they've been putting _uo at the end of their account name.
Turn decay back on and get on with it already! A month from now people will still be saying no we're not ready. Why not? If you haven't played in forever and were still paying AND haven't even checked your email account that's tied to your UO account, how long are they supposed to wait for those people?
But has nerfed my house storage system somehow! I have 3411 max secure storage, and I count 2894, but game counts 4628. Just changed today. If I take anything out of a chest I have to hold it, as it will not allow me to put it back in chest. Anyone else have similar issue? Only affecting one of my 5 accts.
I have two fairly big problems with your logic:
The first is that there are plenty of folks that don't frequent Stratics. They would have no idea what is being discussed here and the e-mails / herald do not contain the same wealth of information. I've helped a few people (outside of Stratics) and it makes me wonder how many others are "sufferering in silence."
The second is that there are some folks (reference some threads on the first page) that are having credit card issues totally unrelated to their ability to read and comprehend what has been posted here.
Seems like there is a issue with people like me that claimed a vet reward on the day...it was reverted du to some bug that allowed unlimited picks for some people???
the gifts chsen have gone due to the revert...and the picks on offer have not been put back.....iam owed 3 picks ....can u please look at this issue...

On the contrary, was told by CS gentilman that the minute the house decay is active all homes that were inactive before the migration timers didnt stop. So the many who are still having trouble turning on accounts because of this accounting change will go poof.
Meaning that someone who was due to turn on their accounts during the time of the migration and the original date has past the 90 days those houses are going to go down. And we will have a few thousand players go postal.
The migration is still flawed, ips are still being blocked if you even try to use more then 1 email for listing accounts over the 9/10.
