• Gypsy camps have been disabled temporarily while we investigate their relation to an issue causing items to be destroyed.

Not much? I'm all for testing but there really doesn't seem to be any huge changes here in the patch to cause anything bad.

Lets see, valentines gifts and disabling gypsy camps and snow...yeah. Not much.

I recieved a glacial 2 tone blue basket that looks like it might be like the glacial boxes from xmas a few years back.

Until you look at the cliloc strings and realize there's a lot more in the patch besides 3 bear graphics and two switches flipped...

While I agree the 'testing' was (as usual) almost nonexistant, the cliloc strings indicate a lot of what might be said by NPCs or system messages, or name items and quest text we might see - but don't necessarily mean anything in the coding of client or server has been changed yet, so it can just be 'text' without any coding issues or bugs arising to test. Crunch comes when they add the items, NPCs or processes that actually use the text in the cliloc.

But I still half expect houses built over snow tile areas to collapse every time they turn snow on or off

Exactly my point, Aurelius... However, we don't know if the code for the quest or new items is in... Most likely, it is - and is just waiting to be turned on.

Thus, its untested by players. Since Mythic QA is nonexistant (or so pathetic as to render it as such), that is the issue I am trying to raise. Anything untested by us before it hits production servers is a Bad Idea (tm).

I did notice some graphics updates. In the EC I noticed more "texture" to certain robes. I also noticed that the Thigh boots have been redone and look nice.

How do we know they don't put fake stuff in there just to see our expressions? That way they can make design changes before release and it'd look like all Their idea. Maybe QA just checks that they don't give too much

Do the thigh boots actually cover up the pant leg now then instead of bleeding through?
