With the exception of the insane amount of paras, I'm finding this super fun

lol note to self don't invis at drop box and check stratics, some random will invis there and get you and him revealed ;p and you'll die...I just wish the larger puzzles gave better rewards. like 2 cards or something worth the time.

I think I've gotten almost as many punch cards today as I have deathrobes... However I got a Nexus deed, so it was worth it

Now to see if I can get another...

Well what I mean is if the system is based on a total turn-in amount (like blue crystals) from all the players which rewards the lucky one rather than a cumulative per user objective randomized by an RNG then it's another flawed system in which the only way to "win" is to dump 50-100 at once.

*Starts collecting tickets and drop 15 each time...*

I tell you something, i have a feeling its like that!

Yes you can get more than one deed. Every 50 punch cards gives you another deed. So far I have obtained several nexus deeds and it has always been on the 50th card. Good Luck hope that helps!

Yes you can get more than one deed. Every 50 punch cards gives you another deed. So far I have obtained several nexus deeds and it has always been on the 50th card. Good Luck hope that helps!

I DONT KNOW HOW TO HIDE THE SPOILER.....

HERE COMES THE SPOILER......BE WARNED.....

Get the map from salty dog inn......look at the picture.....Go to the bank in Ilshenar ..use a crystal portal ball for ease.....head to top north west corner of the building u will see a hole in the mountian side with a rope going through it...click the rope to climb through the hole .....and get ready to fight....kill the minions...[sampire and tamer are both good].... EVENTUALLY U WILL DROP in the monster corpse a thingy...looks like a ring with 2 ribbons on??? well u know because its got a timer on it....get a char/toon with tinkering skill and double click the thingy and it turns into a special toolbox....go back into the dungeon and use the tool box on the grey broken nexus ones...u get a puzzle 3x3 to 7x7 grid of right left up down nature..get it right u get a ticket...wrong and u can zapped and paralysed....collect 50 tickets by popping them in the card puncher...that a box were u entered the dungeon...and on the 50th u get your prize nexus deed....

Xalan Dementia said around 50. Vyal said around 80. devil99 said he heard people who turned in 60 then got one. Faeryl said she plays Minesweeper with 99 mines, but didn't specify how many punch cards it took for her deed. Mr Bug said around 50 per deed, said he had several deeds but didn't specify how many. devil99 got one after 52. Nimuaq agreed with Mr Bug on around 50. Martyna Zmuir earned four deeds but didn't specify how many punch cards per deed. I received a deed after 46 punch cards.

Assuming one 60:
Mode = 50
Min = 46
Max = 80
Range = 34
Avg = 55.4

I can confirm the exact figure is indeed 50 punch cards per Nexus Deed. I went again today on my lockpicker, who has never been before, and saved them all up in a bag before submitting them. On the 50th punch card. the machine awoke and I got the deed.

Explaining the differing figures, it may be that there's (whisper it) decay on the reputation? Or perhaps just miscounting of punch cards, easily done with all the paragon's running about!

I saw in another post mention of this rope so yesterday I went back to have a closer look on LS. I saw a coiled rope on the ground but it didn't go into the wall, and clicking did nothing. Clicking in-the-vicinity yielded a Jungle Wall tile, perhaps a future placement reference? This was in the center room, at the top of the west bound stairs.

I cant find a rope going into a wall either. The pathway out of the city is blocked. Stupid paragons chased me into the city and killed me. The healers are on the roof it seems. Fun event....

Found the rope. Go where the stone masons are and you can see it on the right. Its on the roof of the blacksmith shop. Go up the tiny stairs in that shop and you can get to it.

Could definitely be the case of human error. Around 50 seems to be a solid answer. I put in 4 so I'll have to plug in 46 more and see what happens on my end for the second time around.

UO had a King, he's dead, been dead. How much similarity should there be between pc game and MMO before history is merely repeating itself? Should the MMO forge far ahead dynamics that propel itself to the point where maybe it's the PC game that should catch up?

One problem....for me anyway. I went through and managed to get my Cu Sidhe killed about a million times, ended up finding ONE componant..ALOT of paragon minions down there Ran home got on my tinker..and she has no tinkering! Well...55....*sighs*

So now I have to train up tinkering again...I don't know what happened to it lol.

One thing that I didn't see here..maybe I missed it...do only the minions carry the components? So I don't bother killing the overseers if I don't have to...though I don't mind either way.

Don't feel bad, neither did I. I have 5 toolkits I thought OMG if I have to get 50 of these things I QUIT!

And they last quite a long time too which is nice, I cannot do those silly puzzles 50 times in a row!

One would think that the 2009 Halloween event would have thought them the folly of such a grieftastic mechanic..

However, from my own experience, it is not coded this way.

I was wondering about that too. There were 3 or4 people down there that day. I was going to try again yesterday, but it seemed every single Exodus Minion was in the center area. Needless to say I didn't feel like killing them all.
