When did they flush the accounts... I have a cousin that started in like 1998 and quit, but doesn't remember his info. Is he a gonner?

He should just call EA customer support. All the CSR asked me was the username on the accoount, and then he asked me my birthday. He then emailed my password. Easy. He really can't remember his username?

Today we have officially opened the gates for all players in good standing to return to Britannia. All accounts have been opened and former players can login using their original user name and password. (Forgot them? Contact EA Customer service at http://support.ea.com) Accounts will remain open through October 16th to allow former players the opportunity to get reacquainted with the game and community. Spread the word to friends and family - there has never been a better time to return to Britannia!
In all honesty, we were lining up several other announcements to coincide with the Return to Britannia campaign, as well as with the true launch date of Ultima Online’s … but the server fairies had other ideas. So stay tuned for an exciting announcement about 11th and 12th year veteran rewards, as well as other fun goodies planned for the live game over the next few weeks.
For those of you who returned to play Stygian Abyss, or simply to become reacquainted with the game you’ve enjoyed and perhaps missed over the past 12 years, we wish to say, “Welcome Back!” Don’t be overwhelmed by the scads and scores of quests and things to do. Make your way through as you always have. The areas you knew and loved are still here, but some of the faces may have changed.
What you will find is the same Britannia, with its legends and lore, and the capacity to shape your experience as you see fit.

I just wanted to say Thank You !

Of all the *gifts* expansions or pixel whatevers that we as customers may or may not have gotten over the years........ for myself nothing is a greater gift than to get to log onto old deactivated accts. however briefly to visit our chrs. again. For myself that IS the greatest EA anniversary gift ever.

There are times, revisiting the old accts. I have deactivated over the years,
are like a UO time warp. One acct. does not even show Trammel on the chrs. moongates.

And now and then I revisit them when yall offer Return to Britannia free briefly, [and I may reactivate one or two for a while] then deactivate them again. I keep the main 4 going since 98 but, others were created with various expansions over the years more as experimental chrs. than keepers. And it is good marketing as well, cuz ya never know folks that been gone may return, others may keep accts. deactivated ACTIVE once they log in briefly for free for a week or two. For myself it is just a wonderful Anniversary gift to get to SEE these chrs. again, briefly, that I had in overdoses of too many accts.

Anyhow THANK YOU for myself there is no greater EA UO Anniversary gift for myself, than to [freely no matter how briefly] get to revisit our old deactivated time warped UO chrs. again,that we once were so fond of perhaps, but we just could not keep ALL of those accts., active like our main ones ! Logged into my lil Elder bard tonite, was such a joy just to revisit her and strum her lute. Thank you !

I find this also a major annoyance, that you cannot apply upgrade codes to accounts, which are currently inactive.
I run into that problem already with ML, had more codes than active accounts, so I wanted to apply the codes to some of the inactive accounts as well.
This didn't work, so I gave away the codes later to other returners for free (so less profit for EA).
And as I finally needed them for those own accounts, I didn't have them any more (and of course never purchased them again).

Nope, this is in game.
"Your account has been blocked for one of the following reasons:
1. Your billing information is invalid or expired.
2. Your game time has expired
3. Your account has been temporarily suspended
4. Your account has been terminated blah blah blah."

This account hasn't been used in years, and his account was in good standing since inception.

I have a feeling I am not the only one this is happening to, so hopefully a dev will say something.

I got the same error here...

And my account is not blocked due to ban or something:

Suspension Reason: Coupon Queue Empty
