Nope, you just see a word on the city listing of the loyalty gump (e.g., "Commended"). That's it.

I bet 3 faction rank 1's (A,B & C) cant afford faction Arties and there for have verry little chance of killing some one at the top of their faction (player D at rank 10). If Player D is savy enough to get to faction rank 10 i doubt he will be standing around letting A,B & C kill him.

Having more ways to generate loyalty is a good thing. Even after the "Civil Unrest" arc is resolved, it'd be good to see trash randomlly generated in the cities...and even fires (fire happens...) Heck, even rioters, protesters and raiders make sense in limited quantities and at very random times. (Someone is always upset and pissy about something their local or national gov't is doing)
Not being able to see a number for loyalty is getting really old though. Players like to see progress "Your deeds in the city of ___ are worthy of praise." is nice and all, but without a goal to shoot for (say 100 or 1,000 loyalty earned a day) people will reject the system. Sadly, not everyone RPs. Give us a numbers like we now have for Fame/Karma.

Come on. Items might give a slight advantage but we have all cleaned people who are "better". Faction players a,b and C had better be able to kill player D or tramwerd bound it is for them.

There is a reason they are sill faction rank 1 and hes at faction rank 10 :gun:
I'm now trying to test the city loyalty for doing champ spawns on Origin and the news is not very encouraging. Took the Tokuno champ spawn to the 2nd level and never saw any messages about gaining loyalty to Trinsic, where my tamer has been lingering somewhere at the Commendable level for a few months now . (She has not declared citizenship yet.) Tried one of the Fel champ spawns but I'm too slow to get those to advance very quickly and it would have been sometime late today before I got the one I picked up to the 2nd level. Now trying an Ilshenar champ spawn and, once again, even though I'm still on the 1st level, there are no messages about gaining loyalty.
My suspicions are: (1) you have to finish the entire champ spawn to get the loyalty bump, or (2) it only works in Fel and you have to get through at least one level to get the loyalty. Or maybe you have to have declared citizenship??
Maybe someone else has more information on how this is working on Test Center or Origin. I'm still uncertain if it's working as intended or not.

AHHHHH!! You have to declare citizenship to get loyalty credit doing champ spawns. Sorry, should have read the publish notes more carefully. Nothing else that you do for city loyalty requires declaring citizenship.

There's still no indication of the value for FAME from BODs, let alone for your standing, so don't get your hopes up.
BTW, the formula for BOD fame is (point value/50, round down)^2 (50 point bod 1 point, 100 point bod 4 points, 150 point bod 9 points, etc.) - it's quite likely the same formula is used for Faction standing (or worse, the same formula without the squaring).

How does one DECLARE loyalty for a city? Sorry, unable to log in and look for myself.
Declaring is from the last publish where we could buy titles. Go to your loyalty context menu to declare your loayalty to a city. (declaring loyalty has nothing to do with earning loyalty, except from champ spawns)

You're missing the point. Before, you bought the armor and it was good until it couldn't be repaired anymore (or you lost rank). Now, you are buying a new piece every 30 days.
To address your comment, I think it depends on how many pieces you need and your playing style. At 100 silver per kill I do think a player who does achieve high rank would get enough kills to buy all their gear (assuming they bank from time to time). This also assumes you're talking about, perhaps, one character being played by that person.
I'm pretty sure 2.0 in Minax are the ones running around with no competition, considering they have as many players as the other factions combined.
Since Mervyn left, 2.0 are no where to be seen
Seems as though the "no silver for kills" problem might be fixed, so maybe the publish will be moving to other shards later today or something? Threw a spare character in an enemy faction on Origin about half an hour ago after double checking the tithing rate for my normal faction was set at 0% and got silver for killing her with my wimpy faction thief.incorrect!

I don't know if the point and silver splitting is working correctly though as no one else was on to collaborate with. See Poo's post above (#6) for more details.
