[UO Herald] Maintenance of All Shards - 10/10

Greetings,

We will bring down all shards at 3:00 pm EDT today for a short maintenance. This will fix issues with the Clean Up Britannia event.

At this time we anticipate the shards to be back online no later than 5:00 pm EDT.

Surely the herald post should come before the in game warning. Way to go EA and the continuation of the terrible communications

Maybe if they fixed some bad bug or exploit, they didn't want to warn the abusers ??

Well DAY late dollar short lol... From the info I saw posted around it looks like 100,000 pts / Minute or abusing the bug means that 100 Million cleanup pts for 1 day of abusing is possible.... I'm expecting cleanup items to be worthless unless so bannings happen...

I saw the prices go down to 25% of normal this morning on what I thought were throw-away characters. But, I thought they were just people with a couple mil points that were returning to game and were poor.

100,000 points per minute? I am sure that was an extreme exaggeration. I did however see lots of people flooding the can the other day. :popcorn:

Well am clueless of what you speak of, and it scares me ...
I only made a guess ... but if something this bad is going on I hope they track- and shutdown the abusers.
Hell if it so big I can live with a revert !
Isn't a player capped at 10 mill ?
