[UO Herald] Maintenance of All Shards - 04/18

[UO News]

Greetings!
We will be bringing all shard offline tomorrow, Wednesday April 18, at 11 am EDT (3pm GMT) for maintenance to improve the login process. This maintenance will replace the regular morning maintenance.
At this time we anticipate that the shards will be back online no later than 2 pm EDT (6 pm GMT).

Well given that they appear to only be working with the login process here the only thing that could break would be the login. Easy enough to find out once it goes back online.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Oceania's problems? Whatever it is, it's serious enough that someone pulled the trigger to have all hands on deck versus an automated push.

Its because Exodus needs a multi log in possibility for all shards to crush the world....

I do have this too now but never before - but it started a few days before this maintaince - suddenly freeze, but no disconnect, kinda like the lag spikes we all are used to have since 14 years but than a bit different - the char seems to be "stuck" you can turn around on the spot in circles but not move - like you have been hit by a freeze spell something...weired

Yep that exactly what I experienced this morning. But last night or the past few weeks haven't got these type of issue.

But then it only hold me like around 2 to 5 seconds each time around every 1-2minutes. Which I feel very uncomfortable with.
