Is it just me or 1 use dyes are a bit sad?

kinda but the OT does say

You will only receive one dye per account per shard

- sometimes we hear and read what we hope for. Maybe it's more than meets the eye .... & maybe not.........

Thinking peeps who don't read boards and news and have a mildly messy backpack may not even know they have one as the bottle's dark.

I agree. Very sad. Not even enough to dye an entire outfit. I had expected at least 5 uses, if not 10.

Well said, truth has been spoken.
Why do people care so much? Are those the same who want ugly neon-pets?
And like someone said on another thread, it might be good to not have an endless amount.
It's like iCrap. It comes out. Suddenly everyone finds smartphones cool. Now everyone got one and they notice how boring it is. Besides iCrap is the worst phone I ever had.

I honestly hope they will put them for sale on the site like the Abyssal dye. I would buy the slate blue and hunter green. I actually really like these colors. I don't want them to fade out as they get used up.

I do find it a bit lame they are only 1 use per account. A shame you can't turn in ten random 1 use dyes for a greater dye of choice color with more uses. How did they decide this is equal to the inconvenience many players are experiencing due to the game issues?

Oh well. Please, EA, tell me they will be offered again, these are great colors.

If the very top character on the list wasn't 30 days old, you didn't get a dye.. It didn't matter if you had multiple other characters over 30 days old and such.

Well, I must admit, I was one of those that complained bitterly when I discovered to my shock that it was one use, per account, per shard. However, having seen the mad trading that has been going on all day, and the fun people have been having doing that, my opinion has changed. My only suggestion is that if something like this is done again, it would have been nice to have the particulars beforehand, as those on the Asian shards did, so that those of us who were expecting at least 10 uses wouldn't have been so disappointed.

I have to chime in to say that the gift only having one charge was a bit odd, to say the least. I can understand 5 charges. I'm at a loss for 1... there isn't much in the way of things to do with a 1 charge item, unless it is for, say, a singular spell book. It seems less like a gift and more like an entry drug into a uogamecode purchase of some sort to buy more dyes to complete an armor set.

I would not go as far to say it was a proverbial slap in the face, but it definitely makes me question (yet again) the logic that the UO team applies to maintain happy customer relations. While the EA billing troubles are not their fault, the one charge only dye as 'compensation' seems a bit off.

They really dont care about customer satisfaction.. if they did then the gms would answer before 2 hours... we would have our own gm staff instead of shareing with warhammer... their bugged to hell help system would work adn they would inform us more of whats going on.
