[UO Herald] Buddy Referral System Temporarily Unavailable From Monday on

Greeting,

On Monday, 06/13, we will temporarily disable our Buddy Referral System due to internal changes. If you have friend who still have to test Ultima Online - Sunday is the day to bring them aboard.

We can't give you an exact date then the system will be available at the moment, but we'll inform you as soon as it's back.

As usual, keep an eye on the Herald.

5 weeks passed and still nothing

It's a sad state of affairs when so much that the Dev team seems to touch gets left on the burner. The Excel spread sheet turned out to be nothing, though people like myself knew it would end with nothing. Spring/summer/fall/winter cleaning has fallen to yesterdays memory. Updates to MyUo have been offline for how long now?

I would say this, the buddy system, is a clear further indication of my belief that the only thing that matters is pushing out stuff that they can charge for. Don't forget that the buddy system gave out free time for getting a sucker to join.....

They were pretty clear some internal changes were going to happen with this and that takes time. It's true an update would be nice or at least a hint of where thoughts are going on this.

I know why this is down, and no I cant post it on the forums.

But I will say this, its about time they took this down and fixed the problem. I bet EA was losing alot of money from this.
