And no I didn't register for the SA beta. Mythic ticked me off with their last few rounds of KR beta invites (public? I don't recall), that had ZERO access to the closed beta forums, so our views, our voices were not required, we were just invited so as to run around and find all the boo boos in KR and report them.

Shame on you Mythic!


TODAY I can say I would have told Mythic back then in no uncertain terms that KR was a piece if **** HAD I been invited into closed beta forums...

But who knows maybe I would have felt 'special' had I been invited into those closed forums and not wanted to hurt the Devs feelings and not said anything about how NOT UO KR is.

Either the KR beta testers didn't speak up OR they did speak up and Mythic just didn't listen.

So BE BRAVE SA beta testers and tell Mythic the truth, over and over and over if need be.


I for one am counting on YOU GUYS to save UO.

Oh I'm in the Beta ..... but you wouldn't know it because I don't have the time to try the Beta anymore...

I don't want to say anything that will violate the NDA I agreed to, but let me just say that as a Beta tester on PAST expansions, I generally don't think it is a lack of speaking up... it's more that they have their own ideas of the ends in mind, and the beta is to get LIMITED feedback and bug fixing. They have limited resources and are just trying to get to a point where things work.
Plus you have the problem that just like there are still to this day people who defend the crap that is KR, there will be those who will defend anything.
