Transfer to Atlantic if you wanna have lots of people around you and help.
Spending too much time on a map. Move on there's maps all over the place. Do the others.
Do the maps still reset to undeciphered after 30 days?
Yup. Stick it back in the locker and let it reset.
Also a lot of players do not know that the finished maps have the same cleanup points as they do when new.

I did and the 2nd one is not on the books either. WTF? It was easier 20 years ago lol. Does anybody have a house runebook I could use?

On the books? Map locations are completely random now, could be just about anywhere.
Locations are not in set places anymore, but you can use the old t-map books to get close to the right area, I use those, I use hag's quest locations and several other books that mark quest locations.

I heard about skeleton keys for chests? How do I get those? Make those?
Most basic magic items can be broken down with Imbuing. Non-magic bone armor could be used for bods.
