Uo doesnt like me

I have been doing devour of soul (renowned) and wyvern (renowned) mini champ spawns these 2 days (Sat and Sun); back and forth almost non stop...

I got nothing at all.

Tried it on my 1st sampire; not work

Tried it on my 2nd sampire; no luck

Tried it on my 3rd sampire; no luck

I don't know what bullcrap happened to my chars or whether I am out of luck in rl.

My guildmates said they do about 10-15 will get an arti..

Anyone got any hints for me besides asking me to delete my account or chars?

I've done the devourer of souls spawn at LEAST 100 times since the arties were added with no drop.

Just bad luck, and your not alone.

I never had any arti drop from any mini champ yet. And I've done my share.

Yeah it's all luck. I personally have very good luck with SA drops. I can usually get a drop off the wyvern in about 5 rounds. But then I can't get another for awhile. The other day I did the rat renowned and got 2 drops out of the three spawns. Mystics garb and Axe of abandon. It's all timing... To me, the devourer is MUCH easier, but it also seems to me the drop rate is lower.

It's five months i'm trying to get a drop from a SA mini-champs. I tried with big luck, medium luck, no luck, farming... zero. And i'm lucky because i have a lot of free time to play. There are tons of posts about better ways to deal with "drops" than pure rng, especially the broken one of UO. So we get animated pumpkins.

The last time I was after a specific artie off an SA Mini Boss, it took me 3 days and 100 Renowneds to finally get it.

I think Medusa hates me I did 3 runs last night and didn't get a thing. Though I did manage a Berserker Sycthe on my first ever visit to Slasher of Veils.

I've killed them all dozens of times... Usually from Medusa I get something stupid... like the Stone Dragons Tooth....

Same with doing Slasher or Styngian...

After 100's of dead Navrey spiders I finally got a Tangle.... and 2 or 3 Night Eyes.

I've NEVER gotten one single drop from killing any of the mini-champs no matter how many times I've done them.

And for YEARS I went on Doom run after Doom run only to have one of my guildmates CONSTANTLY get a drop EVERY time we went.... one time he actually got 2 Orny's in a row on 2 consecutive Dark Fathers.... was enough to make me want to vomit. But I never got a single one..... then finally I got my first drop after years of going and what did I get??????

The LUNA FREAKING Lance.... piece of complete GARBAGE...

I was less than amused. I go now and from time to time I do actually get a drop from Doom.... but those are few and far between.

And I've yet to EVER get an orny.

So trust me when I say you are NOT alone.

Think one of my first Doom drops was the Ring of Elements

but other than that I think i've only had a minor drops

I've got friends who get multiple drops or at the very least a drop on very boss.
I have two accounts that never EVER get artifacts of any kind (like ever).
I thought it was just me lol

Welcome to the club who feel UO hates them for never getting a drop regardless of the attempts. Curiosity though, estimate of how many times you tried?

Really didn't keep track how many times.

But say average one time is 15 mins... 1 hour 4 times.

I expect i probably did around 8-9 hours on each of those 2 days (sat and sun)

i wake up at 7:00am from server up then play until night time 12am

total sat = 8 hours x 4 = 32 times

sun = 8 hours x 4 = 32 times

Mon = 3 hours x 4 = 12 times

Today = 2 hours x 4 = 8 times

Nothing! YAY!!

I am in the unlucky club category

Oh by the way, I have also solo lots of destard spawn last 2 weeks ago. Approximately 20 times, i got 2 drops of replica:-

lava tile
ophidian statue
120 magery
120 fencing x 2
some other rubbish 120's around x 3-5

THATS ALL for 20 times of solo destard.

I think UO doesnt like me much honestly.

I don't feel special it was just nice to get a drop. I usually get nothing from whatever I go to.

I typically get one every other time from the peerless types, on a fairly low-luck character, doing them with groups. (probably about 20-30 times so far).

Only gotten one or two drops from renknowned

HOWEVER....

I've yet to have anything other than Gargoyle-only items drop, and I don't play gargoyles AT ALL.

....Holy ****. I got one in around fifteen Slashers, solo. Can't be true.

Or if it is I'm done with this game, lol.

i get one about every 3 or 4 slashers, but not every one.
Ive had runs of bad luck on boss drops but never as bad as your luck it seems.

first week the renowned arties dropped i got a set of tinker legs, I thought "wow that was easy ill sell them for quick cash and farm another set to keep"
farmed lots of wyverns while i was doin my stygy marathons and didnt get another drop until about a month ago, tho that drop was another tinker legs.

Ive gone a week of steady play and soloing and gotten nothing at all, and then ill get 2 crimmys and a draconis wrath within 3 days. RNG is a fickle freak
