There are tons of gold man clothes and items around...
Is really absurd that programmers didnt find a way to stop this, or simple they dont want.

"goldman" cloth exists because the Europa EM kimmie stash clicky-Statue was left up for months and people were able to get 1 stash per character! (not account) than delete that character make new and get more a week later. So some people who had dozens of accounts accumulated these sashes in mass. There is the possibility some cloth could have been "duped" but the majority was from the error of the EM/Mesanna for not taking the statue down after a couple days.

Exactly, and a old one at that. They did change future EM items/sashes so they cannot be cut for cloth anymore.. think that was their fix.

We've been getting 'holiday gifts' instead of Christmas gifts for some years now. I'm sure there are people who have the old green gift tickets that preceded the tokens we get now, they say 'A holiday gift ticket' on them. I'm not sure it was our dev's decision, I think the instruction came from higher up.

Oh no! Terrible that we include everyone with one simple change. War on Christmas!! Or some other fake outrage. Seriously, they're are way better hills to die in than it being called a Holiday Gift. I’m pretty sure that the second time they gave out wrist watches they called it a holiday timepiece and that was 2000(ish).

Tell you what, you can have your Christmas gift back if I can have a Menorah.

Laws? Are you eff’ing serious? Ok, you know what, I'd be down for it. I'd love a law that says any organization must give equal representation to religious holidays. So you get you're Christmas back and I get a Hanukkah event. Plus I think Dawili actually leans itself to some pretty cool event ideas if I'm reading what it is correctly - spiritual victory of light over darkness(?)

Your sort of right, they don't mock them. They just pretend they don't exist. Here's a fun mind twister for you. You say Merry Christmas to me and I say Happy Hanukkah back, what would you're reaction be?

Now you're going to try and give me some BS about being ok with it but I can also tell you that you're either lying to yourself or part of a very small group of people. The reaction normally ranges from serious cat butt face (normally old ladies) or some war on Christmas response.

In short, there is no war on Christmas you're just mad that other people who are “different” than you are being included too. Untwist your panties and sit down, not everything has to be about just you.

Joking aside. As for declaring religion out of bounds, I'm not sure I'd agree with that. This discussion has been civil, followed the rules of the forum, and has run its course without devolving into personal insults. Neither side will change their position, to be sure, but both sides have handled it in a mostly adult manner (I include myself in that "mostly" part). If we don't talk about things because they're uncomfortable, then we just fall deeper into our own echo chamber - something I believe all parties would agree is a bad thing.

Telling you, they think it is a zero-sum game. Being inclusive to me somehow lessens them. Even though nobody has said anything about being unable to say Merry Christmas or any sort of war on Christmas nonsense. I'm just going to laugh at their small-mindedness and main-character energy. Not everyone celebrates Christmas. Not everyone is a Christian. Have some respect for others. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, wrong with using the sayings Happy Holidays and holiday tree. You are looking for reasons to be upset.

Well said, as others have stated, I use both terms interchangeably. I try to remember to say Happy Holidays if I'm speaking with strangers but sometimes I say Merry Christmas. My buddy from Pakistan doesn't care, neither do I. Hell, he told my youngest daughter Merry Christmas the entire month of December. We talk alot about his immigration because im super curious, I know he doesn't celebrate Christmas. It just doesn't matter.

At the end of the day no matter what you say, even Happy Festivus, its a cheery greeting and almost everyone has some type of joy during the Nov/Dec/New years season.

Life is better when others stop being concerned about what other people are doing. People who do that want to be as advanced as organisms that self replicate so all the offspring are the same. Lets get past the amoeba stage.

I tend to say Merry Christmas when I see people on the streets, purely out of habit. It's how I was raised and it's a difficult habit to break. I do try though.

At the end of the day, I'm just tired of people getting bent out of shape for the most ridiculous of reasons. It's like everyone is looking for a reason to be offended anymore. It's exhausting.
