Tired of people asking me what I look for in greater dragons, So I figured id just make a post and you can decide....
Remember when normal taming a greater dragon that you lose 50% Stats and 10% skills that cannot be regained. (so if you tame a dragon with 1200 Str and 1200 HP's, it'll drop too 600 of each after tame)(And if you tame a dragon with 140 wrestling, itll drop MORE than 10%, dunno why, but it can be worked back UP too 126). So i suggest you write down the skills BEFORE taming, that way youll know what the REAL skill #'s can max at while training.
Stats I look for are; Str over 1200 (more melee Dmg)/ HP's of 1600 or more. Str can spawn at 999 too slightly over 1300, and HP's can spawn at 999 too 2000.
Dex and Stamina 125 (it is possible to tame one with 125 Dex and 118 stamina for example, so 125 dex/stamina is NOT a standard norm).
Mana and Int over 1200 (does more casting Dmg). Int/Mana can spawn at 1010 too 1350.
Skills; Wrestling, Tactics, Magic Resist, and Magery can all spawn with a known max of 144.5 (Meaning that after taming, all 4 of those skills can Max out at 130.1) It is MY opinion that magery needs to be over 120.1, It can para ppl easier and does more Dmg while casting. For PvP reasons Wrestle and Tact need to be over 120.1 so it has a higher hit advantage against players with 120.0 Fighting/Parry/Wrestling Skills. For PvP/PvM, Magic resist needs to be over 120.1. At 120.1 resist, PvP casted para spells have a .1 secs freeze delay, and PvM has Dmg lessing via the resist itself and the lowered amount of cursing.
Natural Resist; only 2 make a difference here... Physical and Fire both need to be at 80% or more (they can spawn as low as 60% and as high as 90%).
Some people believe that having one with 900+ Hps is awesome. They are right and wrong. A dragon with 800 HPs and 90% Fire and Phy resist will last LONGER than one with 999 HPs and 60% resists.
Now with all that in mind, you have to decide whats good and bad.
If you have stealth and 110 lore, you can go to dastard and look thru all them and get the one you like (they can reveal if you get 3 spaces away from one so keep some distance). All dragons respawn every 2-3 hours, so if you dont see something good, just come back later.
