Thx for answering my thread. I am just wondering why is the Air Elemental better to use than the Super Slayer ? I always thought that the Super Slayers gave more damage. Also, which slayer is best to use against Navrey Night Eyes-Spider or the Super Slayer-Arachnid ?

Elemental Slayer = 2x damage
Air Elemental Slayer = 3x damage

woops, seems i'm a little late
Tested with my sampire using honor. I see no difference between Air Ele and Elemental slayer. Both cap out at the same numbers for me. Maybe I'm already capped on DI but sampire doing armor ignores makes no difference. Ele slayer cheaper to imbue since ele uses an ingredient easier to get.
I hit with both for 177 dmg per hit with max perfection.

Air Elemental weight less in the imbuing , so you can max out more the others properties on the weapon, also honor dont make you max damage at start with an ele slayer. So its twice advantage for air elemental in this situation.
Forgive my ignorance, but what advantage do "stone boots" give? (I've never crafted those)...
I stopped farming these recently but have basically come up with the best setup for farming them...
Double axe, 100% poison damage, air elemental slayer, mana leech, stam leech, and however much DI you need.
With GM anatomy, 120 tactics 0 lumberjacking (which would be badass to gm...) my double strikes do 240dmg, with the possibility of counter-attack doubling it to ~500dmg
But I guess I can't count counter-attack as part of my double strike swing... but when it goes off during a double strike and during one of my swings it's pretty badass seeing 4x120s pop up

Assuming it keeps you stuck in place when Navrey tries pulling you in with spiderwebs.
If you get webbed and equip then remove the stone boots you become unwebbed. Very handy!

im the same, i can cast con weapon all i want and it does nothing.
same with EoO, no damage increase with it.

You'd hit dmg cap with just perfection and air ele slayer alone.
With these, you will do more DMG because they come before the 300% dmg cap:
120 Anatomy +60%
120 Tactics +70%
100 Lumberjacking (if using an axe) +30% with a 10% chance for a +100% swing
150 STR
Then remember to use counter-attack if you have parry.

aint just the air ele slayer make you to the cap ? If I remember you dont even need perfection for cap with a lesser slayer...
