Unable to get BOD's

Hello, I've tried searching this forum, along with several google searches and can't come up with a solution to my problem, which leads me to believe it's something I'm doing wrong.

I have a character with Blacksmithing ~50. After reading a few threads I've decided if I'm going to level it, I may as well do it via BOD's and get a little something out of it. I'm not in a rush to GM, I just find crafting soothing.

If i understand correctly, any character with at least 0.1 in either Blacksmthing or Tailoring is able to talk to an NPC of said profession and have a menu option to get Bulk Order Deed Info.

My problem is that for the life of me NONE of the NPC's I've spoken to have that option. I've tried the smith in New Haven, and when it wasn't there assumed the starter zone NPC was unable to give them. I then tried both Minoc and Brit, talking to any Weapon/Armour/Blacksmith I could find all to no avail.

Am I going about this the wrong way? I have tried the above NPC's on both the EC and 2d clients just in case it was a problem with the EC, which I primarily use.

I have only been playing for a little over a week, so chances are high that my mistake is a completely noob one.

Eagerly awaiting a reply, finishing work soon and would love to put all those ingots to use.

I use the ones in Delucia! but it should not matter just left click on them and a menu should pop up with a list of options like buy/get bod et and click on the get bod

I'll give the ones in Delucia a try when I get home. I should have specified in my first post, the problem is that there is no BOD related option.

I have all the Buy, Sell, and Training options but the BOD option doesn't appear, it's not even there and greyed out. It's just completely absent.

Due to massiv abuse of the bod system, trial accounts were blocked for all repeatable quests ... including the bod system. So if you try on a trial acc that could be your problem.

Bingo, thank you very much Silverbird, that would explain everything. I'll stockpile my ore in the meantime and in a few days once I upgrade I should be good to go
