As far I know, a locked down and secure box can't be lockpicked. If the keyholder put key in a keyring, he can lock it down on top of box if he is friended to the house and only keyholder and house owner can click on key and unlock the box.
If you don't want house owner to have access, you need to give keyholder a vendor, to keep the key in ring. Now the house owner can't get the key but a house owner can always unlock and axe the box, so I better like the way with the key locked down, as with the vendor solusion, a thief can steal the key, when keyholder remove it from vendor to unlock the box, even when he can't use it unless he is friended too.

I believe she filled her vendor with a bunch of keys and only one worked on the box.

So you had to buy a key/keys and hope you bought the right one to claim the prize.

Okay sooo, if I lock a box, secure it on steps, set access to anyone? Then only the person with the key can open it and take item out. (except for owner of house). Now there are several people who have access to inside house for bussiness purposes. If they have lockpicking can they open that box? I know people have raised locking picking on locked down boxes OR is that where key ring comes in and makes the difference??
Key ring won't make a difference. Key ring just houses multiple keys. Thats why people use keysrings when doing lockpicking, to store all the keys for the box on 1 ring.

If you need me to test, I can put LP on.

Thank you kindly Rumpy, but I have it figured out. If a box is secured to access level anyone, in house, and locked with a key. Friend nor co-owner could lockpick (GM LP) it. When attempted, recieved a message saying box was secure. And only key holder could access item inside. Thanks for looking!
