so i was pulling out some of the assassin honed weapons from shame.
have been in there doing it on and off since it went live on production.

what i do when i get bored is i see if i can clean out ALL the chests and get all the stuff out.

so tonight i pull a real nice assassin honed weapon.

i get out with it, and decide i was just gonna go right back in, so i figured i should insure it before i head back into the maze of nightmares just in case.

no money in my bank it says.....

this is my faction trap remove on my home shard.
all my toons on my home shard have AT LEAST 5 MILL IN THE BANK!

so i leave and go to the bank.
nothing.
not ONE GOLD PIECE IN THE BANK!!!!!

so i pull up the insurance menu, everything is still insured.
just no gold in the bank.

now, i havnt been at the bank in a LONG time.
and also havnt died..... wow, i cant recall the last time i died on that guy.
its probably been well over a year.

no gold.

so something was happening and taking all my gold.

now the ONLY thing i have been doing is the maze of nightmares and running out loot from the chests (the fire cursed loot)

what im wondering is this... when you get out with the loot it goes POOF and the curse comes off it.

when that happens is it dipping into my bank for insurance for some strange reason?

anyways, someone smarter then me is gonna have to figure this out.
all i know is that i had a BUTT LOAD of money in the bank and there is NONE in there now.
yet all my gear is still insured.
and ive only been in wrong.

so if your playing the maze of nightmares, be carefull of your gold!

first are you sure you had money in there?
second do you have anything that withdraws money from your account like stalls?
third maybe put a exact amount in your account say 10k then go in and let some poof and see if the amount in bank changes!
only things I can think of off the top of my head

are you only one who has access to that account?

Nice organization going on in your bank, all my char's banks look like $%#@.

But I've been clearing the chests in Wrong - Prison for Assassin Honed Items as well. I'll have to check to see if I'm experiencing the same problem.

Edit: I just checked the character I use to get the items from the Wrong Prison, still about 7mil left, and it's been there for quite a while.
maybe if you did something specific to trigger such a thing, or maybe you bought something with that char from a vendor clearing your gold. definitely interesting though.

so i put 9 mill back into the bank.
i went back down in there and i messed around.

i stole stuff and took it out.
i stole EVERYTHING and took it ALL out.
i stole everthing then went and got caught.
i stole nothing and went and got caught.

i have no idea.

i did all that and my bank account still says 9 mill.

all i know is i havnt died.
i havnt purchased anything.
and both my guys that are in the maze have no money left in the bank.

Honestly... I'd put about 50k back on one of these chars and go to wrong again. Then keep an eye on the pile of gold every few mins or after every action you have under suspicion.

Maybe after all these years they're finally going to make insurance actually act like insurance, and every hour you gotta repay the premium whether something happened or not

Or maybe the jailers steal it from you while you're "asleep" if you log off down there.

well im totally lost.

i checked all my other toons and they are all fine.
so i reloaded those 2 guys with gold and put them back in there.

the one has been in there for 2 days now and the other has been back in for a day.

nothing.

all their gold is still there.

and ive been doing everything i was doing before, stealing, looting chests, killing jailers.

ill keep it up and ill keep checking their gold to see if i can narrow this down.

very strange, maybe if there is someone else out there farming the assassin honed stuff they can keep an eye on their gold as well.

Is there any way you can check to see when your character has been logged in? (Like via a guild roster.) Was your character logged in (by someone else!?) at a time when you *know* you were not playing?

ive never shared any account info with anyone.

and if they HAD access to my account im sure they wouldnt have just taken 5 mill out of my thiefs account.

hell, there is 100's of millions in checks my castle that is owned by that account, hell, the castle alone with all the rares in it would be worth billions.

so why if someone accessed my account would they just take 5 mill?

no, no one had access to my account.

there was something happening in Wrong that vacuumed all the gold out of my 2 guys that where in there.
i just need to figure out what it is.....

I had something like this happen to me a few years ago. It turned out to be from reshaping my house. The costs came out of the chars that placed and edited the home. Just another way it could have been over looked.
