Here's an odd old bit of obscure Ultima apocrypha I was never aware of before, that I just figured I'd toss out here for the heck of it. Back in 1987 Origin was releasing it's first console game, the NES port of Ultima 3, in Japan. As part of the extensive marketing campaign (which included some manga and other things) a studio-produced cover of the game's soundtrack was released.
Hitomi no Knife is a weird, perky, vocal version of the character creation theme and the standout track of the album.
Magnet of the Heart is the game's town theme turned into a romantic ballad.
