Ultima Browser and the Codex of Wisdom.

You see that button on top? The one that is titled < ? >.

That is the Codex of Wisdom. It hasn't been updated since the Age of Shadows. I assume that would be a problem for new players who might believe that information is current.

What I'm wondering is what it would take to code and incorperate an In Game Browser into UO. The purpose would be the same as the Codex. But it would take you to Stratics and other approved fan sites for information on various Skills and Features of the game.

(e.g. Search Housing? It brings up the Housing Pages for approved websites such as UOStratics and UOGuide.)

It would also have the added benefit of helping those communities that support Ultima Online. You would be giving them exposure by making them immidiately accessable from the Game World.

Not sure how more amateurish uo would seem if they linked to fanbases for their knowledge base.

But a link to uoguide or a stratics guide assisting to the codex would be clever.

Also some hints to the official forums as newbies have no idea they exist.

What official forums are you talking about? There are not official UO Forums - stratics is just a fansite where the devs decided to post.

I know they have no official forums.
But leaving newbies with no forums to refer to then is just plain stupid.
