Explores several lessons that can be drawn from the Canadian experience with socialized medicine:

Health of the State (commentary by a cancer survivor)
I tell you this not to alarm you, to elicit sympathy, or to bore you. I tell you because the episode has been, for me, a salutary lesson (just in case I needed one) in why the government should not be allowed anywhere near a syringe, a dressing, a scalpel, an oxygen mask, a tissue sample — anything to do with health.

Michigan Shouldn't Copy Canada's Health System

im not republican or democrat, conservative or liberal. Not black, white, yellow, christian, jew, muslim, or atheist, nor am I racist or biased against any of them. They are all equally worthless..

the problems the united states faces today won't be solved by any single member of the aforementioned parties, or the parties themselves.. The problem is our culture and behavior on a whole.

When the 'merican' dream of giant f-650 trucks, stucco McMansions, collagen housewives, heated swimming pools, and golf courses comes to a grinding halt for lack of resources, it wont matter which piece of %$#! you have running office!

One way or another, you will work for your freedom. It cannot be attained via the internet. Learn as many skills as you possibly can aside from 'blogging', or 'coding' or 'networking'. They should mean the difference between you and your family surviving and dying.

Big brother, will not save you.
your ford truck, will not save you.
your god, will not save you.
your cell phone, will not save you.
your speedhack, will not save you.
fox news, will not save you.
uncle sam, will not save you.
We, the competent survivors of the 'merican dream'
WILL NOT SAVE YOU.

stop typing, and start working, maggots. ;)

yeah, socialized medicine won't save you either when even the backup hospital generators don't have juice.. playing too much uo won't help much either.

the weak will fall down
the old fall will down
the ignorant will fall down
the fat will fall down
the lazy will fall down
the incompetent will fall down
the stupid will fall down

you and your useless college degrees which have no real identifiable application to the real and physical world,
will also fall down.

If you're none of those, you shouldn't have much to worry about, so stfu and do what I do and do what you can, and keep on keepin on.

'the meek shall inherit the earth'

edit: btw, this was in response to the first few posts in this thread, not the subsequent useless prating that worked its way to gen. custer and the RIDICULOUSLY long list of newspaper headlines with no real agenda aside from defending insurance people, aka the devil.
