Anyone else think the way it is now sucks?



Here's the way I think it should work:


If you soulstone 120 skill points onto the soulstone, your character loses the 120 cap, but it stays with the skill on the stone. When you absorb the skill, the 120 cap transfers to the new character along with the 120 skill points. If you transfer it off, you lose the 120 cap on that character again.


Basically the cap transfers with the skill so you don't have to buy multiple 120 scrolls for multiple characters just because you want to change templates.

Yes which would basically kill the market for any newbies to grow, this game is hard enough on newbies.

I have never had a 120 scroll. Maybe I am destroying the game...

How do most newbies get money for 120s anyway?


And champs are next to impossible to finish on populated shards, so most PvMers' (the majority of the playerbase) only option is to buy them for outrageous prices. And right now, you can't even buy 115s because they're all gone because of scroll binders.

I am on atlantic and my guild has 0 issues getting champs completed without getting raided. Hell some of my guildmates did a harrower the other day and got all the scrolls with little issue. Raiding hasn't been too big of a problem for quite a while now. Just a few straggler reds that die quickly.

And even if you get a spawn completed, there's a huge chance you won't get the scrolls you need, and buying them all for multiple characters is just ridiculous. Especially for mage characters.

Its part of the economy, PVMers' make the money and buy goods from people who enjoy other aspects of the game. I understand the point of the binders though, they should have let them at 105 and 110s.

Scroll binders already give ability to make larger Power Scrolls, all be it at a cost.

Imbuing give ability to create specific items again with durability but 255??

now I want to be able to move my legendary skills around at will??

There are NO 115 scrolls for sale on Great Lakes. Definitely not enough to make a 120. And I've already gotten these items and scrolls for some characters, I just don't want to spend another 50 mil just to be able to change templates.

It took me forever to find a 120 parry though and ALL 115s were gone from all vendors around luna

i dont know about the caps, but i do think they should let you downgrade..


one time i put a 115 scroll on my necro then found out i really only need 106 skill to be 100% at everything i wanted to cast..

i then took that skill and wanted to switch to my warrior.. but the problem was and still is, i need a 115 scroll on that char and i cannot find any.. i dont want to pay a bunch for one either.. because its only 106 he really only needs a 110 scroll.

if the skill isnt AT the cap, the stone should let you change to any char that has enough points

Hell, just make up to a 115 cap transferrable. They're impossible to find now, so I can't just buy them to change templates. It's either do champ spawns or nothing, and I refuse to PvP in this horribly broken game.

Uhh, then maybe you should stop whining, grow a pair, and do a few spawns with whatever friends you may have ingame?
Are you frikkin kidding me? You seriously expect anyone to feel bad or believe that a vet player cant find or bind 115 or 120 scrolls for his/her own characters?

Nm, my bad. I just noticed where you also complained about the randomness of scroll drops. Maybe a Dev could just personally deliver all the items you need right to Luna bank? *tosses cookies*

I'm not gonna solo Fel spawns just for the chance to get the few scrolls I need, and end up being raided by a huge gank squad running speedhacks. I already said I'd buy them if they were ****ing for sale.

No it's not. Sure it is if you plan on doin' a baracoon in despise, but there are other champs. Playing on europa i have never been raided doin' Deceit spawn, and get raided about 5-10% of times doin' other spawns in far away dungeons, get couple of people and it'll take you 40 minutes to finish anything, not enough time to get raided.
Plus, with the new expansion there's no speedhack/no scripts (doesn't work for the patched 2d), so it's you vs. them. The only reason some people might run faster than you is because they play the enhanced client.
