[Lock Picking] Two Questions: lockpicking and krakens

I figured you guys would know how to answer both of these questions.

1) What lockpick skill is needed (approximately) to open a) a keg from a gypsy camp spawn and b) a white miasma paragon chest

2) How tough is it to melee a kraken? As in, what would you need to do it? I have memories of doing so, and dying quickly. I mostly thinking the shame ones. Not ready for a net kraken yet.

Kegs are either level 1 (36 LP needed) or level 2 (76 LP needed). The misma chests need a GM picker.

It's been awhile but I don't remember the dungeon krakens being too tough as they do not have the super goo ball breath weapon. The bigest problem with them is once low on health they will swim out of your range untill they heal up a bit. You really need to be able to make the killing blow fast once they are low on health. With and archer or mage make sure you don't kill them too far away from shore or you can not loot the body once dead.

Since 1 has been answered I have a suggestion for question 2, if you use archery and chivalry's enemy of one, you can take down the Kraken fairly easy.

I get 2-3 on a fished up net occasionally *and of course no one is with me for that net* and can take it, try doing it off the buc dens docks then you can run to a healer if you have to

You know, given that I encountered that kraken way back when while on a boat... I'll bet it was a leftover net kraken.

Just remember if you got to Bucs Den to toss nets...you don't need to take a fisherman. Any Character can toss a net....
