trying to get back in the game

I am trying to get back in the game after a couple years and figure playing and reading stratics will help figure most changes out. There are afew things I am hoping I can find out here.
These are that in the past there has been talk of scroll or tmap cases and seed catalogues and other things that would work like the bod books . Has any of these occured. Also there was at one time talk (or wishing) for a home stabling system . Anything on that ? Again most of the mechanics I am happy to learn in game but in general things like those above that make organizing items and such easier I would appreciate a heads up on.

Seeds are more easily organized now because they stack by seed type. As for t-maps, there is no new means of organizing them, but T-maps have been randomzined as of the last publish and their loot improved. Finally, the hitching post was added to the game which allows for stabling from home, but it requires recharging.
