back when there was an easily done z-axis bug, some people dropped into the walls and marked runes - chances of finding one where you need is small. the ends of these walls are typically blocked off, permanently. I'd say report it as a bug, move on the the others. Rooftops are much easier to find

I have heard that you can use Spellweaving - Thunderstorm to skill them so that they will respawn elsewhere.

what about those horn things, that use Sulfurous Ash, i think they shoot thru thru walls?

I'll agree that it is a pain - but I hated doing Yew even more.
For Trinsic - I just did rioters until the town locked up with inaccessible rioters - then I moved on to another town and came back to Trinsic the next day.

I haven't done Yew yet but after this town, I seriously doubt I will do it. I don't mind hard work, but this is crazy!
No need to kill them, just call a GM. Their response time on these (at least on GL) has been ~10 mins, sometimes less. Just use the "Other" page type where you can enter in your problem. Say they you have a "Stuck angry rioter near these coords <give coordinates> please move! Thanks!" They will move the rioter and sometimes even talk to you! *gasp*
Yes I have been paging the GM, and yes he has been talking to me very nice and helpful but I figured 3 times in a row was a little much to keep paging. GM Lubac has been extremely helpful!
I will never understand this mindset.
Requiring that a GM do their job, their sole reason for existing in this game and garnering a paycheck, more than a few times is "a little much?"

Cogniac, I understand that the sole reason for GM's are to help in the game, but yes 3 times back to back is a bit much. So I just killed em and went on my merry way............now I have to decide if I want to have a Yew banner or not! Maybe I shall wait several days before I start on that one.

I drove GM's nuts with my constant pages.. They moved them the first few times, then just stopped responding.
How in the heck did you finish, Arabella? I've done over 1k fires, 100 rioters since I got adored.. (Gonna reparse my log file and check again).. STILL adored..

I'm working on my first - AND last - banner in Trinsic. I would rather tame animals for skill than put out the fires.
OH, how I wish Trinsic were made from wood! BURN! BABY, BURN!
I got lubac twice in trinsic and he was extremely helpful and fast. Three other times I don't know who I got, but they were just as fast to correct the NPC issue.
