Trial membership?

i've been trying for days to get my trial membership to work. I've heard alot about WoW, and it sounds like fun, but neither the straming content trial (as advised against by the load gump) nor the more permanent trial seems to be working. twice i've installed the download trial, with no othwer windows open, and both times i've recieved the message that "the WoW loader and the WoW installer muist be in the same folder" or some such nonsense. Whatever the message, i've confirmed that they ARE in fact where they should be, adn I still can't play the game. I'd like to try it, and subsequently become addicted to giving blizzard my money, but honest;y this is an incredibly poor advertisement for the game. Any suggestions?
