I read the post, it just didn't look like anything I had seen before and god knows they could have added 10 shrines of justice by now and I wouldn't know.

The structure must be of newer date.

The structure is over 2 years old, and was the centerpiece/start point of all shards' (AFAIK) 2008 Valentine's Day events. It's also been used by MANY PC weddings (EM-ran or unofficial).

I'd forgotten the structure was there tbh, but I've played this game long enough to recognise Justice Island and Waterfall in the radar map when given the clue 'north of Justice shrine'.

After waiting in Ricardo's cell on Europa for over 1 hour, he didnt give a clue as to the whereabouts of todays book. I logged into Great Lakes and it was the first thing he mentioned. Maybe Europa has not been updated correctly?

You don't have to wait in Ricardo's cell. Just visit the spot and see if the book appears. Unless of course you're trying to solve the riddles yourself... then you've spoilt by coming to this thread lol.

A rune library on your shard may have a rune, It's a lovely island as theres room for one player house. Your own island!

Unless you can find a rune to it, it'll be kinda hard. There are a few out there on some of the older shards..

I have a question about the 6th word of power, nes. Anyone have an idea what this might be? I was thinking n,e,s but poison, freedom, protect, doesnt sound right. Or maybe it is des meaning down, which does sound right and fits the spell so far? Does anyone have an idea of what we might need to hold in our hand? thanks for any ideas.

I need a bit of help here... yesterday I did not, but today I wanted to work out the clue for myself, but Ricardo seems very reluctant to speak on Legends (while there today only giving Brit dock, Wind and Bucs Den clues) so I'm a bit peeved about that to begin with..... go over to Atlantic to see Ricardo and can't get past the little half doors in the Yew court, so now further frustration... gah

head over to Catskills and get a clue about mining.... he says something about a hard task protecting the secret and then something about mining and digging, so my question is....... how did we get to a shrine from that clue? (and yeah, used all my books and all the mining books in a well stocked rune library checking out all the mines and surrounding areas this morning)

Devils Own, you don't have to go through the court room to get to Ricardo. To reach him, you just need to run down the east side of the Court of Truth; teleport or take a boat across to the island that holds the Yew Prison; run north along the west wall of the long walkway back to the jail; go through a secret entrance in the wall of the jail area; and then sneak through an unoccupied jail cell. (Yeah, I gave in to the temptation to run the quests even though I made a post the other day complaining about them. Nothing better to do, I guess.)

Below are some screen shots from Atlantic, including Ricardo spilling the beans for the day 6 clue. I also threw in at the appropriate place the secret entrance in the wall that gets you to the teleporter to the Lighthouse in T2a (Lost Lands), in case you have forgotten how to get to that teleporter.

and you would think that after 121 months a person would know all those little spots, but that is all brand new to me rolleyes:


looking at your journal, and from what I saw on Catskills, the Ricardo in prison on Legends, I've determined, is a phoney.... that, or we bore him to death, cause he doesn't say any of those little extras, such as about his lamp... not surprising, I suppose, since he also seems to be missing information about half of his hiding spots

Yeah, there seem to be more than a few inconsistencies between shards. For example, I've noticed that on Atlantic, turning info in to Crag boosts your karma but doing so on other shards lowers your karma.

Perhaps the EM's were responsible for implementing this? That would explain the inconsistancies? Time differences? Given the tools and said have at it? Hence why Messynina <---yes i know, it's my own name for her... had to fix a few things that perhaps they could not?

About that power word "Nes"...

According to Gargish, "nes" means "requires, must, has to," which, depending on context, could mean just about anything.

It may make more sense in the context of the completed spell... Thus far we've got An Sanct Grav Vas Ylem Nes ___ ___ ___ ___...

Which means:

Negate Protection Field Great Earth/Matter Must ___ ___ ___

We were taking bets as to what the remaining words would be on day 4... I guessed Ylem, though not in that order. Pretty sure none of us saw Nes coming though. hehe

Does make me wonder if they've ascribed some of these newer words used in spells to particular runic characters, or maybe gargish ones.
