Transferable Vendors maybe?

I know most of us have wanted larger bank checks, and with larger bank checks comes larger amounts of duped gold. What if you can transfer a vendor like you do a house? The deed shows up in the trade window and tells you the vendors name, it's cords, and amount of gold in its purse. that way you can do one trade for expensive items and move the gold off the vendors. And i think it's safeguarded now where if they remove the vendor you still have 7 days to get the goods off it from the house sign. Just not sure what happends if they redeed the house...

Did you know that all characters on an account have access to your vendor whether it's an owner vendor or a rental vendor? This means they can put up for sale and take down items or gold off the vendor without you having to friend your characters manually.

If that account is a standard account without bank box storage upgrade or extra character slots, that's 5x125 or 625 1mil gold checks you can store on one account. 6 or 7 slots with +25 upgrade - well, you do the math. ;)

what I meant was using vendor transfer as a way to buy expensive items without being forced to use a broker. Like when you agree to pay 750mil for an item, it's always annoying to bag up all the gold, wait for a broker ect ect. I think it would be easier to just put 750mil gold into a vendor you own, and then trade it to the person you're buying the item from, then they can take their time removing the gold.

What if you can then dupe the vendor?

I think things are fine. The game actually is imposing limits to gold in its own strange way.

Keep in mind duping wouldnt be such a problem if there werent checks and deeds. It would still happen but it be a pain in the butt to manage piles of crap.

duppers will always cause us headaches, and it's a shame we have to be restriced because of them in certain areas. Plus I'm supprised dupes are still an issue, you can't even sell gold anymore, they ruined the games economy that much. Wouldn't you like... give up and more on at that point?

750M for an item? Why is it people are willing to pay outrageous sums of money for overpriced items?

I think it's good that there's a cap on how much gold a character can hold in their bank box, it prevents outrageously high prices from overinflating the worth of items.

I would rather see a way of reducing the price gouging on items that occurs because someone has too much gold and too little to spend it on.

If you've already bought everything there is of value in the game to you, why don't you consider retiring your characters, reducing your stockpile of gold checks, or giving stuff away for free?

It's surprising how many players in UO seem to just stockpile something until they have way too much of it and nothing to get rid of it with.
