what I meant was using vendor transfer as a way to buy expensive items without being forced to use a broker. Like when you agree to pay 750mil for an item, it's always annoying to bag up all the gold, wait for a broker ect ect. I think it would be easier to just put 750mil gold into a vendor you own, and then trade it to the person you're buying the item from, then they can take their time removing the gold.
750M for an item? Why is it people are willing to pay outrageous sums of money for overpriced items?
I think it's good that there's a cap on how much gold a character can hold in their bank box, it prevents outrageously high prices from overinflating the worth of items.
I would rather see a way of reducing the price gouging on items that occurs because someone has too much gold and too little to spend it on.
If you've already bought everything there is of value in the game to you, why don't you consider retiring your characters, reducing your stockpile of gold checks, or giving stuff away for free?
It's surprising how many players in UO seem to just stockpile something until they have way too much of it and nothing to get rid of it with.
