Transfer question

I am going to transfer my Legendary toons to a new shard( just 2)

My other toons while quite capable in their time are simply not worth transfering over --so question:

My older toons have Valorite armor, valorite weapons etc--is it worth while to strip those out and transfer them over?

Beyond the obvious of slagging them down for the material--can they be stripped and imbued?

Thoughts?

Probably cannot be imbued. To verify you can find a public forge and attempt to imbue them with no skill and if it gives the error message then they cannot be imbued.

Depending on the age of the suits there could be some rare pieces so do not smelt them until your certain they have no antiquity value.

I've done the xfer a couple times now, and what you may want to do is - if you have soulstones - strip the high combat/magery skills off those left behind so you can build Gatherers to support your Legendary crafter chars on your new shard.

Personally I would unravel at Queen's Forge if the items are relic quality and if not, smelt them for the valorite.

You also want to "shop" your intended destination shard before hand to see if it is worthwhile to buy items and take with you. Raw materials cost more on a larger shard because there are more crafters to supply.

Landed on Atlantic--no hard feelings about my previous shard--but it is an MMO and I got tired of being the only player in the entire city all day.

Atlantic is nice since you can buy just about anything you would need and for the most part you have some pretty decent people on the shard. The only problem that I had/have with the shard is sometimes its too populated when they do events. The Moonglow invasion really put me off on Atlantic since it was one of the first shards to have the machine activated so you had the regular Atlantic players as well as people from other shards coming to see the event. The lag was so bad that people were frozen and couldn't move and basically became monster fodder and there was nothing they or anyone else could do to save them.
