Training Swampies

For a non-tamer, what's the best ways to train up a swampie? Mine is way under-trained and I'm not sure where to begin.

The only time I chose to train a swampy, was on a wrestle mage. when I got my mages wrestling to about 50, I wrestled my Swampy to GM. It was quick and pretty easy.

Have a mage friend heal it while it fights a Shadow Elle.
