Town Loyality Bug

Been feeding the angry protesters food since 6:30am or so, but around 8 eastern they will not take the food but I still get the rep message. I can do this over and over with them giving the rep message but not taking any food. They started not taking different types of food ealier. The food I am using is stuff that has been sitting around for past 10 or so years. I will try new npc bought food and gold on them next. Just started happening in Atlantic Yew though.

lol. they won't accept anything but seems they respawn after awhile and now others seemed to corrected themselves for now.

The Yew Prison has them stuck in locked cells which you can't get into as they catch the cell on fire.

With unreachable ones, I just used an alt character with spellweaving to thunderstorm from above (in the case of the Trinsic wall ones).
Not the one I was trying to gain rep with, though, because killing them is really counter-productive to that.

The protestors only take so much food..I mean come on how many fish steaks can one person eat?

What I do that seems to work well is first I give them 2 shirts and 2 pairs of pants each...yeah I'm kinda RP'ish *grins*...then I have my stack of fish steaks and throw 2 individual steaks at them...not literally! And then I put the whole stack on them and they usually end up taking about 6-8 more. IF at that time they will not take any more food, I give them ONE gold coin. If I get rep for that, I'll give them 2-3 more individual coins, then drop a whole stack on them and they end up taking about 12-16 more gold coins.

I think they'd rather have food AND clothing AND coins not just one thing, and that seems to work rather well.

I am only doing Yew and New Mag and haven't had any issues with Rep or Rioters getting stuck anywhere.

I have noticed that in Yew it's very quiet...maybe 2-3 rioters and a handful of protestors there, my loyalty is commended there still, and in New Mag there are so many I can't get to them all, I hit Beloved there on my first day.

The spawn rate on both the protestors and the rioters needs to be exponentially increased. The current number won't satisfy a shard during prime time...

I think as the event progresses we will see more...seems strange you people want MORE chaos lol...I guess be careful what you wish for

Though I can see that even on Origin I only ran into 1 other person helping me in Mag and it was still very difficult to keep up there, while in Yew I had a hard time finding any rioters or protestors and I spend a good amount of time there, Yew being so spread out it takes time to search and it's fairly quiet.

I did a run through Vesper and found very few fires there but plenty of protestors. If you leave the protestors alone they will begin to riot so maybe give it a few days and see what happens.

Nah, not bad yet. Lemme max out loyalty to Brit on my Kreepy char. Then I am hitting another town {undecided which yet} and unleashing the Evil side. Gotta have one char at max negative loyalty, just to see what happens in the long run

Chaos is my goal here. I am already "detested" in six towns. I plan on hitting the other two towns in a few minutes.

Just seems some poor citizens are just very picky, You can try 5 different types of food on them and they will give you rep but not take any food, but will take like carrots after refusing meat, fish, cabbage, bread, corn.
One guy won't take any food at all but only wanted gold. I like your shirt idea, I will do that at times for clothing but seems it might be tedious to do it alot lol.

So does anyone know what happens if you gain loyalty to one town and not another? And if I'm playing an "evil" character, then I would kill the rioters instead, no? If so, can you kill them in guardzones?

Been warned several times to only help one town, do not try to help more than one. The next story arc will be the reason behind all this probley, not sure. Once you start a town , stick with it.

Also for the spawn rate, there is so many npc's and riot fire npcs per town. Once one is captured or pleased another spawns in the town, it is just the matter of finding them really. I think if they add more than there already is will make it silly since this will be around for awhile.

yeah carpel tunnel to the max putting fires out, of course I do things the old fashioned way...no EC no UO Assist so....if I start typing funny you'll know why

I haven't yet started doing *Evil* things....am interested to see how that goes...I might..but...the only char I would do that on is Larisa..and her being red..and in factions..it's hard to run around a town controlled by another faction trying to put out fires and being hated ANYWAY due to the fact that I'm a murderer...should be interesting.

I see people handing out fish,bread,clothes and gold. I just find it much easier to hand out flame strikes. They keep talking about 'fire',so I just decided to help them with it. They seem grateful enough...at least I think so.

Makes me want to go snag the EC just for this part of the arc hehe. Anyone figured out a way to macro it by using CC or UOA? Tried everything I can think of and nadda.
