The New Magincia housing system is way to ugly to inflict on the other cities. Part of what makes the cities look halfway decent is the limited tile sets used in each, players tend to make highly objectionable house design decisions.
I don't want more crystal borg cubes.
Ideally being able to restrict housing sets available in a given city would be a nice way to keep the cities looking uniform. I imagine someone could probably still create something purposely heinous with even just sandstone for example, but in that case we may need to investigate adding rotten vegetables to the throwing skill
