In order to better serve a variety of citizens, the governor's held a special meeting to discuss having a larger variety of town buffs. Some buffs willing be staying the same - others will be changing.
This was not done on a whim or just for kicks to piss off people. We are honestly trying to serve a larger population and variety of play styles. All governors were in attendance except for the Governor of Britain; stand in stated in general chat that Britain would stay with their current town buff.
The Governors went through the list of available buffs and decided that a few were truly useless. These were +1 to all resist; +3 Dex, +3 Str, +3 Intel, +2 HP regen. That left 6 possible buffs and 9 towns. All remaining buffs are represented with 3 of them doubled.
+1 Faster Casting - New Magincia and Minoc (No Changes)
5% Swing Speed Increase - Britain and Skara Brae (No Changes)
5% Spell Damage Increase - Moonglow (No Change) and Jhelom (Changed)
+2 Mana Regen - Yew (No Change)
5% Hit Chance Increase - Trinsic (Changed)
5% Bandage Healing Bonus - Vesper (Changed)
All changes will go into effect no later than Next Tuesday (Feb. 13th!) Some have been changed already. Trinsic is now running with the 5% Hci; the buff wasn' t active for that city before the change. The bulletin boards will be updated with the new buffs as a reference guide. Please spread the word: tell your guildmates, ICQ friends, facebook buddies, other shard friends, and anyone else that comes to your mind.
We are aware that this will cause an inconvenience for some (myself included) but it is our hope that more will benefit from these changes. Lastly, help keep these trade orders in effect by running trade orders from your chosen city. Remember, it cost 2 million gold weekly to have the trade orders active. Help your city and get a chance at a pretty pink scroll as a possible reward from the trade ministers.
