Sometime last year we had a 1 v 1 mage tourny run by lex of bc.. For the most part it was alot of fun and a great idea.. I think the problem with it was it was a little rushed becuse everyone wanted to advance so quickly so places became confusing.

Hows everyone feel about another tourny? Something a little more organized a little more panned out so even those who aren't competeing can follow it. I'm thinking 2 divisions scribe mages and dexers.. 2 mil entry fee, double elimination. The entry fee would be divided amongst the top 3 placers or each division at the end..

Feedback apreciated!

I think a tourny would be a great idea! Why didn't I think of that? I wonder if we could even hold on in fel...

Rumor has it that cost's money. Is that true ? I hear if you pay off TDR they will come defend your event. Just check with Max , he knows all the details.

Like, O ma God ! Seriously .... LOL What do ya mean get over myself ? I was simply stating a somewhat know fact that BC will not let these types of events go on w/o proper compensation. Rumor has it that TDR (Tinkie Dinkie Rinkie) was goin to defend the other PvP event. Was just trying to pass on the info. Ah that's right, Max might have to go to the Opera if the Ole' Lady wants him to go so he won't be able to attend.

What I mean by get over your self, is exactly that. I think we have heard this about 15 times in the last three days alone. With each post being almost the same thing. Think of something else to say, your basically saying the same thing that has been mentioned in every other dueling/pvp tournement thread. It's just getting old, expecally if your just another meat shield, and refuse any 1v1 offered to you.

Well the type of Tourny I was proposing wouldnt be an everyone on at the same time type event so it would be pretty difficult to grief.. but I would hope bc would participate as I know theres are a fair number of well qualified mages who can hold their own under said tag.. This type of tourny would be something spread out over the course of say a month, With everyone getting 2 matches per week to advance

Hmm, sounds interseting..maybe yourself and Sum Gui can work on it together...with or without permits? Put on some decent fair fights, in a controlled environment.

First Nutz, you are putting words in my mouth. Second, wth are you talking about? Everyone knows that's it's BC, not TDR, that is delusional and offers to protect events in the hopes that they can try and prove their theory of owning GL.

I prefer a little more intelligence and modesty in my guild...= TDR. Also, I think the very definition of PvP wouldn't allow this protection/permit crap...I like to pvp whoever I want..."I pvp everyone! Oh, except for the 20 people my GM just said we are protecting...but ya, I own!" lol, that sorta deal is what I try to avoid

BC is for hire...that's all I need to know. Next time I'm a bit soused and need help using the restroom, I'm sure for the right price you'd see a bunch of [BC] carrying Max to the urinal! lol. Later.

Such is probably true. Now I guess I know why they'll field a bunch of people on a Friday night:

1) Probably Mandatory....such a harsh word for a game.

2) Who wants to hang out with someone who'd do such a thing? lol....it'd take more than a few of 'em to give me a swirly, I'm sure of that. I hear they really sober you up

I like the idea of another tourney, I'm sure there are a lot of GL players that would come duel.
