Ok I was thinking today (hurt a lil bit but forced myself to do it).
Tamers for years have been asking for a way to sell pets on vendors. Biggest issue is the abuse of stable slots, I think. Well as I pulled a greater out on one of my lesser used tamers, I came to the realization that I no longer had the stats sheet for his caps anymore. Now I have a partially trained g. dragon that I no longer know what his caps will be.
I got to thinking wouldn't it be nice if the lore gump would show the current skill w/ cap (i.e. 118.6/122.3). I dont know how much coding it would take to change lore gumps to do this and it sounds like a feasable thing to do. but may be harder to do than I think.
I took this idea a bit further and thought what if you could use the animal lore skill on a scroll and then target a pet to get a stat sheet. the stat sheet could look like the repair deeds. When clicked on it could open a stat sheet that shows the skills broken down like above.
Now what this would do is allow tamers to put pets on vendors. Or at least the stat sheets, while eliminating the abuse issue of stabled pets.
This would also give a means of having an ingame record of a pets stats.
So what ya think?
