The recent memory leak added to the classic client has not been fixed. If anything it is worse. It is absolutely horrid the amount of memory being chewed up by an old 2d client. If your character remains in the same roughly 20x20 area for an hour with no one else coming or going, no mobs spawning, why in the heck would the memory use go from 20 or 30mb to over 500mb!!!

Come on Devs get it together and squash this thing.

I didn't even know there was a problem... i never encountered any issues with the 2D client being too laggy with memory -- i can run it with like 10 other programs going...

Is that a big deal of sorts?

There's a good chance that the cache's are filling up, not necessarily a memory leak.

Reread my post and tell me what the caches are filling with?
