As the title infers I am sick to death of not being able to put a table or a water trouth where I want it like before!!! Fix this. Yea some idiot complained of goza's ... get over it and put it back the way it was. I have had to put things NOT where I want to accomodate this stupid bit!~ Polar bear rugs wont go in the front room of my castles, water trouths wont go on my roof in front stone tables the same... this is very anoying.

Tired of the "cant place multi tile....near a door or stairs" bit!!!

I dislike not being able to place multi-tile items around the plot edge. I used water troughs as planters to make a nice colorful "hedge" but can't now. ARG!

I dont think anyhting changed to gozas, but I believec it started the change
Gozas still work i have used them as before and have been forced to use them to cover sopts on the flood that caused me not to be able to target ares for placement as the floors below bled thru. That bleed thru should be fixed with next update.
The placing around doors killed me being able to place my curtains over the doorway to the NW corner of my castles upper area. I removed them once a while back to place somthing else they were covering and have yet to be able to place them back.
I am hopoing that the fix also cure this problem.
But Goza's are still working as before.
I HOPE THEY DON"T BRAK THEM.

They said it was due to goza's mis-use that blocked players from seeing their doorways and entrys ....... honestly it was a smoke cloud.... But ever sence then you cant place a double tile item on the outter wall of any house in front or floor in that same location.
I am one not so happy lady... They mess up my rugs with that tent/npc bit and then have the nerve to tell me "oh we cant replace lost or...yak yak yak" THEY BLOODY WELL DID IT!!!!! I have had bites missing all over some of my full goza floors look like a mad chopper went through my homes! I wont even go into the missing boxes of stuff there was on top of the gozas that went missing with them..... *fuming mad*

Yes fix it. This concerns the outer towers of castles aswell. I can't place multi tile items next to teh south facing walls. There are no damn doors anywhere near those tiles ...
This is one "bug" that needs fixing. Any deed that takes up 2 spaces wont go down! It is effecting all kinds of deeds..
I was under the impression that this change was made because of differences in how the Kingdom Reborn/Enhanced client and the Classic client handled placement and display of deedable items. For some reason, I thought the KR/Enhanced client couldn't handle placing and displaying multi-tile objects along certain edges of the house and so they deleted the ability to do that in both clients.
Can't point you to anything specific to back this up, it's really just kind of a fuzzy recollection at this point.

I agree 100%! I am upset over not being able to place my elven couches back along the back walls of the back rooms of my keep anymore ..... now they have to be halfway out in the room. I figure if I can stand on it..... walk on it.... I ought to be able to place on it.

In reviewing other old threads at the time, I was unable to find anything from a developer or community person explaining the reason for the change. But I did find an old post I made wondering if the change was made quietly as part of a fix to prevent people from casting nature's furies into houses. Does anyone know if the ability to cast nature's furies into houses was indeed made impossible, or at least more difficult, around that time?

also back then there was talk of the gargoyle couches (? sumpin like that) eating items, and that maybe they were the reason
