As my old drill instructor used to make anyone foolish enough to call the rifel a "gun" do in the Nude.
"This is my weapon" *hold up the M16a2*
"This is my gun" *pull on you %%%*
"This is for shooting" *hold up M16a2*
"This is for fun" *pull on you %%% again*

As you can imagine, few people made the mistake of calling the M16a2 a "gun" after the first poor fool had to run around naked doing that!
