Time for Throwing on Humans

Isn't it about time they let Humans use the Throwing skill?
I mean it ain't over powered and it's not like a Human couldn't learn to throw a weapon.......
My Ninja would SO like to be able to use tools of his trade instead of watching big ugly Gargoyles throwing weapons like they invented them or something.....
Make a naff quest out if it like spellweaving if you must but c'mon.

No. With archery weapons and non gargoyle equipment you get access to a lot of possibilities gargoyles simply do not have. Damage, no ammo needed and being one handed is the only thing throwing has. Not even double hit spell is possible for pvp. In terms of template building, equipment and weapon specials, you are much more flexible on a human or elf.
Play a gargoyle and see for yourself. If you are only going for imba fotm templates, you may be fine with that. But there is an insane amount of stuff missing if you are trying to be more creative.

Nah, throwing and its weapons have big advantages. The gargoyle suit on the other hand has resist/mod advantages but lacks big time artifacts for HCi/DCI meaning you really need to add these to ur weapon.


If you could build a human suit with throwing and get the other stuff with SSI, skill bonus, etc that a gargoyle can't have...... my god overpowered.

They had originally planned for those weapons I believe. All of which were mentioned very early on in the process.

The animation for throwing on a human is allready in. (darts/stars)
Only overpowered on gargoyles due to their increased resistances and racial buff.
No i don't PvP so am not after a new gimp temp.
Just don't see why a ninja can't use stars/darts blah blah as a main weapon. Oh and don't say i can allways use a katana or i'll laugh so hard i'll fall off my chair.
