Thx Siege for giving me the game back!

Hi all!

I am a veteran of 10 years now and have been playing on a few different production shards (Drachenfels, Sakura, Oceania) depending on the ping where I lived at that time.
After owning every artifact, soloing the peerless-bosses and even venturing into PvP with some success I felt a huge emptiness creeping up and I got bored.
Well, to cut it short, I have been on Siege since yesterday, got killed, got looted, got my best weapon stolen (since it was in the backpack because it had 0 endurance left) and received help by some reds (thx to TO guild) when I was terribly outmatched.....
Anyway, it is great to have a challenge again and I assume it will hold for quiet a while.
Looking forward to meeting all of you!

du bringst schonmal die richtige einstellung mit für unsren shard. bring jetzt am besten noch nen haufen freunde mit, die genauso denken, dann ist hier zu europäischen zeiten wieder mehr los!

wenn du irgendwas dringend brauchst, sag bescheid. gibt genug leute die dir helfen werden. und falls du interesse hast an NEW wende dich an Shalimar.
NEW ist eine gilde für neulinge auf SP. du darfst nur einen monat mitglied sein und wirst während dieser zeit von vielen PKs ignoriert.zusätzlich bekommst du noch unterstützung bei deinem training und lernst andre neulinge kennen. scheinbar kommst du aber auch so ganz gut zurecht

welcome to siege . glad to hear you are enjoying the challenge . thats why i came here . i played on prodo shards for 10 years as well , had all the stuff , seen it, done it ... got bored.

siege can certainly be a challenge and NEW offers alot in the way of help and many players will respect the "do not attack NEW" rule... however many do not and you will be killed, probably mercilessly, alot. dont let the jerks get to you .
you seem to have the proper attitude for siege . i hope it holds up more than a few days . many folks come here full of pride and get slapped down ... then wind up leaving . stick it out bro its worth it . if theres anything i can do shoot me a pm .

dont get discouraged . get revenge.

Patty is right, resource gathering is a fast way to make gold at the moment.

When I got started, I farmed mummies for bandages and for training my fencing. Worked pretty well.

Let us know what kind of template you're messing with, and we can give you some pointers on how to get going. One word of advice, don't trust Chad!

Thank you for thy compliment, but if it was chad, your pack would of been empty before ya knew it.

Im also new to seige. Died about 10 times so far thy first 4 hours . been looted. Been kicked. been helped and then had a bunch of bears after me. So far loving it. This is what UO is.

My second aniversary on Siege Perilious was 2 days ago.
It got quiet during these 2 years. I have seen many good people go and quit although I have been fairly new to the shard. I still do not get it why veterans keep playing on other shards....they should all come here to my new Homeshard!
