Throwing as a mage

I read somewhere here (be damned if I can find the post) about a mage / mystic with a throwing weapon with some ungodly high hit *something* on it.

I'd like to try a similar setup, but I don't know what I need for it (other than some uber cool throwing weapon)

Here's what i got for a template so far...assume all 100 for now because I'm poor and all that.

Mage
Mystic
Eval
Meditate
Focus
Resist

So what should the 7th skill be? Throwing, Tactics, other? Also, being primarily a mage, my DEX is in the crapper. Will that hurt much?
