Because most people have only one or two chars here you can really role play the char. That's hard to do with five or six chars on other shards, but here you can really become the char. Also, since all your gametime is on the same char or two you will develop an identity within the community. Regardless of template "Satin" will be known for something and there are rewards and conseqences for every action taken here. Sometimes even for not acting at all.

For a crafter a strongly suggest gm magery or better. Not only will it get you around but you get energy vortex for the nasty black wisps and the use of a mage weapon. You can leave out eval and skimp on med with the right gear.

Actually becoming a pure crafter on Siege is quite an interesting challenge for anyone. Since many can pvp or pvm you are as difficult for them to kill as a mongbat is. Thus ye must come up with devious clever ways to survive or to just have fun being one of the more entertaining dead dancing ghosts on Siege !

Some folks on any shard even a few here, may belittle ya call ya names like loser, owned, pwnt, or rug weaver or clown whateva...........Obviously tis their own ego that has problems HAHA not ye own. . to be whatever one wishes to be is ..confidence in ones own decision making processes to be and do whatever and all one can be ..and not the studmuffin pvping gimpy flavor of the week templates !

TAKES more guts to be ye self no matter who says what so make the template or templates that make yu and other appreciative sorts enjoy ye unique presence here !

I NEVER had a pure crafter on Chesapeake. Every character I made in 8 yrs was made and honed to defend themselves period and did well doing so, and if I took on any crafter skill it would be like ONE crafter skill per template of pure warriors and mages so at least they were not defenseless ever. I never had the GUTS to make a pure crafter in 8 yrs of UO till ..............I came to Siege and decided I did all that other stuff never once had I made a character that really can NOT defend her self..and saw it as an utter wonderful challenge to be a pure crafter on this shard...and only this one. I enjoy me self.

I actually think it takes MORE guts to be a crafter in a pure all fel ruleset like Siege, than to make the best ever pvper templates cuz ...you deliberatly chose to be *vulnerable* and could care less and have fun with that so dying doesnt even bug some of us ..but oft upsets those that are REALLY into pvping or winning UO when they die ! HAHA Some folks take dying way to serious thus just making ye character to *lighten up* their sorrows as they DIE while ye are dead can be highly entertaining even with NO template !

Tis a game ..the concept is to have fun YES FUN, no serious wailing and bemoaning our fates nor stuffiness should be permitted all fun only FUN, for our $12.99 a month if we make it so.
